The Dems built the car but now its at the Republicans shop. They failed to trade it in for a new car so now it is their job to fix it. They own a share of the responsibility now. How about we stop pointing fingers and have both sides own it and both sides work to fix it.

There have been about 70 changes to the ACA since its inception most of which were made by Obama. 24 were made by bipartisan efforts with a Republican led congress in the midst of the R's submitting 6 repeal votes and over 50 defunding bills...

Interim Plan. Until we have Medicare for all.

Create a new Medicare benefit which is optional for people aged 50 and over. This will be a heavily subsidised low premium plan which will add a healthier element to Medicare pool.

It will also serve to make the non-medicare insurance market stronger by taking many upper middle aged people out.

Consider it a stepping stone toward single payer. Which is what we will eventually have.

For those that want single payer medical, go visit the VA and see what you would get. Talk to the Veterans and see how they feel about government run health insurance. Be careful of what you wish for.

This is what democrats do about ALL of their issues. All of them.

In fact, not only do they pawn off all of their failures onto republicans, they adapt all of the republicans accomplishments through out history and take credit for it.

Examples....
The housing bubble of 2008. Democrat liberal policies led to it, and they blame republicans. Rich white Christians to the left is the same thing....keep in mind.

All of the dilapidated black cities all run down due to liberal policies, they use the rich white Christian to blame (republicans.)

The republican party has done more for the environment than any democrat has done in a thousand lifetimes. They blame Republicans (rich white Christians) for the mythical global warming, take credit for everything republicans have done (national parks, clean water act, clean air act etc) and it works every time.

Those are just a few examples. Of course the democrats are blaming TRUMP for the obamacare failure.
