It's Not Hard to Figure Out Just Who the Terrorists (And their Supporters) Are...

Do you support Hamas and Hezbollah? Do you oppose Israel defending herself from terrorists?

From Darren Grimes:

This is quite vile. The son of a co-founder of Hamas asks students at the Oxford Union to raise their hands if they’d report Hamas to the authorities had they come to learn that the terrorist group were planning October 7. Less than 5% of the room raised their hands.

A new report by the Henry Jackson Society (HJS) reveals what has been obvious all along: The death toll provided by the Hamas-run Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza does not add up. Despite the Palestinian casualty figures being disputed by Israel, this hasn’t stopped most mainstream media from treating them with barely deserved credibility. The HJS reportanalyzed a collection of 1,378 articles published by leading English-language newspapers and media outlets, specifically The New York Times, Washington Post, The Guardian, CNN, BBC, Reuters, Associated Press, and the Australian ABC.

The findings are staggering:

Earlier last week, Geir Pedersen, the United Nations' special envoy for Syria, said that Israeli airstrikes in Syria were a 'very troubling development' and needed to stop.

What does he mean: needed? :dunno:

I support palestinians fighting Zionist occupiers and terrorists, Hezbollah didn't even exist before the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982 you ignorant arsehole.

As 2024 draws to a close, a disturbing wave of disinformation about Israel and the Jewish people is spreading unchecked. Whether on social media, in the media, or even within educational institutions, biased narratives are presented as undeniable truths. This has profound consequences, misinforming the public, fueling confusion, and perpetuating harmful myths about Israel’s history and the Middle East conflict.

Wikipedia's Demonization of Israel

One of the most concerning platforms fueling this disinformation is Wikipedia. With millions of people turning to it as their first source of information, Wikipedia’s entries have become a breeding ground for anti-Israel narratives. Unbeknownst to its consumers, dozens of anti-Israel contributors are engaged in a secret coordinated effort to edit entries to rewrite Middle East history and smear Israel.

For example:

  • Zionism: Wikipedia misrepresents the Jewish people’s connection to their ancient homeland, painting them as settler-colonialists and inaccurately linking Zionism to racism.
  • ā€œGaza Genocideā€ Myth: Wikipedia amplifies specious accusations that Israel is committing "genocide" without context, accurate legal analysis, or common logic.
  • Downplaying Terrorism: Groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, whose terrorism is undeniable, often have their violent activities minimized or omitted entirely.
  • BDS Movement: Wikipedia frames the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement as a legitimate human rights campaign, ignoring its clear antisemitic agenda to destroy Israel.
The Solution: The Jewish Virtual Library (JVL)
