Didn’t Trump tell him to go to the Capitol? You have solid proof of that? Or is that just another of your dumb ass trolls?
Pardoned Jan. 6 Rioter Who Threatened Police Joins Justice Dept.
A former F.B.I. agent who was charged with encouraging the mob that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to kill police officers has been named as an adviser to the Justice Department task force that President Trump established to seek retribution against his political enemies.
The former agent, Jared L. Wise, is serving as a counselor to Ed Martin, the director of the so-called Weaponization Working Group, according to people familiar with the group’s activities.
Mr. Martin, a longtime supporter of Jan. 6 defendants, was put in charge of the weaponization group in May after Mr. Trump withdrew his name for a Senate-confirmed position as the U.S. attorney in Washington. His nomination faltered in part because of the work he had done as an advocate and defense lawyer for people charged in connection with the Capitol attack.
Even in a Justice Department that has often been pressed into serving Mr. Trump’s political agenda, the appointment of Mr. Wise to the weaponization task force was a remarkable development. His selection meant that a man who had urged violence against police officers was now responsible for the department’s official effort to exact revenge against those who had tried to hold the rioters accountable.

It seems like a small thing compared to the human suffering and death that will come as a result of Medicaid cuts. Or the people who will face hunger every day due to cuts in SNAP's budget. Or the consequences of proactively trying to accelerate climate change by promoting the use of fossil fuels like coal while slashing tax credits for renewable energy.
A 1/6 rioter being added to the retribution team at the DoJ is one of those things that feels like there's a committee appointed by trump sitting around a table trying to come up with the most diabolically shocking ideas they can think of. As though they are doing the worst things imaginable to the country because they know they can. After all, who will stop them? A Repub controlled Congress? No. Rank and file Repubs? No. The courts? Not any longer. This is a regime with virtually no checks and balances and it is running with it.
Not buying it…he was working for the FBI at the time, and while as of now I can’t prove it, I think he was part of the FBI that was sent there to rile up a riot…No one person or thing. But trump and RWM media the primary culprits because they fomented the lie that the 2020 election was fraudulent.
To protest peacefully? Yes.Didn’t Trump tell him to go to the Capitol?
That’s what he said, but that’s not what Wise heard. To protest peacefully? Yes.
Rather than posting ineffectual whataboutisms I'd like to remind you it's okay to say it is wrong for the DoJ to hire a convicted 1/6 criminal who encouraged his fellow rioters to kill the police.Unbelievable. I'll bet they're going to do something totally insane next, like send FBI agents to school board meetings where parents are protesting Trump's policies!
How awful would that be?
And that’s Trumps fault? That’s what he said, but that’s not what Wise heard.
Clearly he already had his orders…Incite the crowd.Clearly.
Makes me think you’ll look forward anything the form a conspiracy theory out of…Wise is now being rewarded for his behavior. Makes you think.
Clearly Trump gave him orders to incite the riot. And that’s Trumps fault?
Clearly he already had his orders…Incite the crowd.
Makes me think you’ll look forward anything the form a conspiracy theory out of…
Don't you think he would have mentioned that during his trial? Not buying it…he was working for the FBI at the time, and while as of now I can’t prove it, I think he was part of the FBI that was sent there to rile up a riot…
You do realize that a pardon means the conviction never happened, right?Rather than posting ineffectual whataboutisms I'd like to remind you it's okay to say it is wrong for the DoJ to hire a convicted 1/6 criminal who encouraged his fellow rioters to kill the police.
Not if he wanted to stay alive…Don't you think he would have mentioned that during his trial?
Prove it, or admit you’re lying.Clearly Trump gave him orders to incite the riot.
I know that’s how you operate.I mean, when you write “clearly” before something you can just say whatever you want without any evidence whatsoever.
Prove that someone ordered him to incite the crowd.Prove it, or admit you’re lying.
I know that’s how you operate.
Justifying your dishonesty?I realize as far as his record is concerned he is no longer a felon. But that doesn't erase history. He was convicted for the crimes he committed.
We’re working on it behind the scenes….patience.Prove that someone ordered him to incite the crowd.
I thought you would have done that before they rewarded him with a job in the DoJ. No?We’re working on it behind the scenes….patience.
