It's difficult if not impossible to express in words just how thoroughly co-opted the DoJ has become

Have you seen the budget increase for ICE in the big ugly bill?

GOP Budget Bill Would Make ICE “Largest Federal Law Enforcement Agency in the History of the Nation”

Immigrants here illegally have been so demonized in the eyes of The Following they have lost all perspective on the topic due to the "open borders" "immigrant invasion" propaganda. Putting aside the abject cruelty of it all, the financial impact of deportation from a spending standpoint and the cost to the economy far exceeds its value. But trumpists have an irrational mindset now that overt bigots like S. Miller have infected them with his xenophobic rants.

This is what dismantling the evil, totalitarian, Democrat deep state looks like. Naturally, they're not too happy about having to give up their ill-gotten money and power.
WASHINGTON – A federal grand jury in the District of Columbia returned an indictment today against an Oregon man on charges related to his actions before and during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. His actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.

Jared Wise, 49, of Bend, Oregon, was indicted for civil disorder; and assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers, both felonies; along with four misdemeanors which were contained in the original criminal complaint: knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; uttering loud, threatening, or abusive language, or engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct, in any of the Capitol Buildings; parading, demonstrating, or picketing in any of the Capitol Buildings..

According to court documents, footage from U.S. Capitol CCTV and Metropolitan Police Department body-worn camera depicts Wise inside and on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. At approximately 2:23 p.m., Wise entered the U.S. Capitol building through the Senate Wing Door. After entering, Wise clapped his hands and raised his arms in triumph. Wise walked through the Crypt and past the Memorial Door, ultimately returning and exiting through a window adjacent to the Senate Wing Door at approximately 2:32 p.m. While inside the U.S. Capitol building, Wise is seen wearing a blue jacket and a dark facemask and carrying a dark backpack.

A review of MPD body-worn camera footage reveals Wise engaging with police officers. At approximately 4:21 p.m., on the Upper West Terrace, Wise tells MPD officers, “You guys are disgusting. I’m former—I’m former law enforcement. You’re disgusting. You are the Nazi. You are the Gestapo. You can’t see it. . . . Shame on you! Shame on you! Shame on you!” When violence against law enforcement began in front of Wise, including officers being knocked to the ground directly in front of him, Wise turned in the direction of the violence and shouted, “Yeah, **** them! Yeah, kill ‘em!” A few seconds later, as assaults continued, he shouted in the direction of the rioters attacking the police line, “Kill ‘em! Kill ‘em! Kill ‘em!”

It is unconscionable that Wise is working for the DoJ and not still in a jail cell.

After watching Democrats use the Biden DOJ to go after conservatives in ways we've never seen in this country it's amusing to listen to the left wail and moan about a "corrupt" DOJ now! You guys called the tune...now it's time to pay the fiddler! We warned you that what you were doing would come back to haunt you but you didn't listen. Ask Tish James how that's working out for her! :)

Horseshit. People who violated the law were prosecuted, including the Criminal-in-Chief.

What reason can you give for someone who incited violence against the Capital Police being given a job at the DoJ?

During the riot, the ultra-MAGA in question yelled to “kill em”, referring to Capitol police officers repeatedly.
Is that “real justice”? Killing Capitol police?
1. Who set the pipe bombs on video?

2. Who takes responsibility for J6,for not having the National Guard there?

3. Who was held in contempt for the mistreatment of J6 prisoners?

4. Real justice is what the Trump DOJ does, not the political partisan Lawfare the Biden DOJ did.

It remains unclear exactly what role Mr. Wise will play as Mr. Martin’s adviser. But one person familiar with the working group’s activities said that Mr. Martin was proud to have Mr. Wise on his team, adding that there was no better person to serve on the weaponization task force than someone who had experienced the federal government being weaponized against him.

The federal government was not weaponized against Wise. That's gaslighting. Wise was a convicted felon for a reason. He broke multiple laws.

If you have nothing other than deflections to add to the thread then **** off.

The DOJ was weaponized against conservatives, Berg. Merrick Garland will go down in history as one of the worst Attorney Generals this country has ever had. To think that we almost had that useless piece of shit as a Supreme Court Justice!

Biden let 12,000,000 illegals into the US, including 166,000 Chinese, 125,000 Russians, let 660,000 convicted criminals and 13,000 convicted murderers roam the US, lost 320,000 kids to sex traffickers, let in hundreds of terrorists including ISIS, and removing them requires holding new facilities. Biden's open borders is the biggest national security disaster in US history, Trump and ICE need to fix it.

You guys freaked the **** out over Comey posting a photo of 8647 but a guy shouting to “kill em” is cool.
Who said that?

No, no…get it straight. Berg opened a thread about a guy coming into DoJ that may or may not have been involved with J6, and inciting that day, strange because multiple hearings top brass inferred that they had no one there, but that’s another story.

And as far as Shitbird Comey is concerned, (which this thread is not about) his explanation about his little art project on the beach/covert call for assassination of the President was ALL him, and nobody with any brains buys his excuses…

Which brings me back to this thread topic. Under Biden, the DoJ was weaponized in multiple ways against Republicans standing up for their rights, and I warned you people that you’re not going to like it in the future, when these tactics are used against you…Well, if this story that Berg is weaving is true, it’s just a goose/gander thing, deal with it…

Your constant TDS threads are a joke. J6 was a democrat and deep state setup. I added that your threads are nothingburgers.

He’s on tape. The police body cams picked up this man yelling to “kill em”.

That’s the caliber of people joining the Trump administration.

Pardoned Jan. 6 Rioter Who Threatened Police Joins Justice Dept.

A former F.B.I. agent who was charged with encouraging the mob that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to kill police officers has been named as an adviser to the Justice Department task force that President Trump established to seek retribution against his political enemies.

The former agent, Jared L. Wise, is serving as a counselor to Ed Martin, the director of the so-called
Weaponization Working Group, according to people familiar with the group’s activities.

Mr. Martin,
a longtime supporter of Jan. 6 defendants, was put in charge of the weaponization group in May after Mr. Trump withdrew his name for a Senate-confirmed position as the U.S. attorney in Washington. His nomination faltered in part because of the work he had done as an advocate and defense lawyer for people charged in connection with the Capitol attack.

Even in a Justice Department that has often been pressed into serving Mr. Trump’s political agenda, the appointment of Mr. Wise to the weaponization task force was a remarkable development. His selection meant that a man who had urged violence against police officers was now responsible for the department’s official effort to exact revenge against those who had tried to hold the rioters accountable.

It seems like a small thing compared to the human suffering and death that will come as a result of Medicaid cuts. Or the people who will face hunger every day due to cuts in SNAP's budget. Or the consequences of proactively trying to accelerate climate change by promoting the use of fossil fuels like coal while slashing tax credits for renewable energy.

A 1/6 rioter being added to the retribution team at the DoJ is one of those things that feels like there's a committee appointed by trump sitting around a table trying to come up with the most diabolically shocking ideas they can think of. As though they are doing the worst things imaginable to the country because they know they can. After all, who will stop them? A Repub controlled Congress? No. Rank and file Repubs? No. The courts? Not any longer. This is a regime with virtually no checks and balances and it is running with it.

Your game.

Your rules.

You hate it NOW?

Awwww

Are you trying to say that there really is such a thing as a deep state? Well, Democrats had one so there is no reason Republicans can't have one.

Wise was clearly an agent provocateur on J6. My question is who put him up to it?

I personally wouldn’t trust him, but thats just me…

Vague allegations without substantiation are worthless.

Hardly "vague", Berg! You on the left did it and you got away with it because the Biden DOJ was so corrupt. Why do you think the auto pen was working overtime in the last week of Biden's term? They knew what they did. They knew it would be exposed. They wanted those pardons because they knew they were going to NEED them!
