It's almost refreshing to hear of a disaster on the news that ISN'T terrorism

A train crashed in Hoboken, NJ this morning. Current reports indicated one killed, more than 100 injured. Preliminary report, could change later.

The one killed is certainly a tragedy. But in a train crash, it could have been 100 killed.

And there's isn't a single sign that anyone yelled "Allah u Akbar" before doing something, or contacted an imam, or danced in the streets of NJ, etc.

Looks to me like it was simply an accident. Maybe brakes failed, maybe the engineer had a medical problem, maybe he was texting his girlfriend, etc.

Tragedy aside, it was almost refreshing.

(cue the liberals to wail, "Look how heartless he is...")

I don't agree with the premise. I just think we have politicians who completely downplay what Islam is about. It's sad and it's dangerous.
