What has our country come to when a bumper sticker or hat causes so much rage by those who disagree?
What happened to the concept of respect for another’s views, person, or property?
My car, which has a “Trump/Pence” bumper sticker, was keyed. While pumping gas, a motorist seemed impressed by my courage to have a Trump bumper sticker. People have told me they are afraid to wear a MAGA cap or have a Trump sign on their lawn.
Having to feel so afraid to express our political views is outrageous. Democrats and fake news media have so twisted the meaning of “MAGA” and generated such hatred for Trump that citizens are afraid to publicly support the president of the United States. This is still America. Thugs who physically attack us for expressing our First Amendment right to free speech must be prosecuted.

It began when Palo Alto resident Rebecca Parker Mankey attempted to shame an elderly white man wearing a red Make America Great Again hat as he sat in the coffeehouse — an encounter she later wrote about on social media. Calling him a "hater of brown people," Mankey said she yelled at him and addressed Starbucks customers and employees to join her in her effort. She said she left the store but soon returned and continued to yell at him. Mankey said she was "heartbroken" that other white people didn't stand up against the man wearing what has become for some a symbol of hate. She followed him out of the store to the parking lot, where she continued to berate and swear at him.
She called the man "Nazi scum" and threatened to post pictures of him on social media, which she then did, along with her version of the incident on her Facebook page and on Twitter. She asked the public for help finding him — "I want him to have nowhere to hide," she wrote -- a practice called "doxing," or posting personal contact information to encourage threats and harassment.
The incident has had repercussions not only for Mankey, who said on Tuesday she's received death threats and was fired from her job as an accountant, but also for her former employer, Gryphon Stringed Instruments. Staff at the store said they were inundated with angry phone calls and emails Monday and Tuesday.

You guys depend and have been for decades live off of the destruction of Repubs who promote some values and fall down at it. You have used the compassion and Jesus angle against them and we are where we are at. You vote in a heavy percentage of nut jobs who have not seen a tax they did not like. N.J. just elected a governor who has gotten about 5 tax increases so far. There is a recall movement starting but the Prog political class will probably get it squelched. A couple of months ago Chris Christie was asked about N.J. and he said the people go to their nature ways and vote in a Prog and then they do not like the massive tax increases and then vote a Repub in for two terms. Christie is not a conservative Repub also. Much more moderate. For all of their taxes they still took a beating when a hurricane hit several years ago. Taxing people that much and you deserve better on all infrastructure. Remember when Prog Calif. governor Grey Davis was recalled some years ago for policies. He even had a goofy smirk on his face when removed from office.

Have you noticed how the rabid right keeps trying to portray liberals as dangerous, even as conservatives are gunning people down in their churches, synagogues and mosques?
His skin color was the reason we moved massively to the left. A definite one termer that had two. He had two choices. Be totally socialist political or be a uniter. He became a socialist and a radical. By the last few years we saw the riots with nary a word from him and the promotion of hate white people, preferable males verbal, physical and lawsuit attacks on Christians. Millennials were rising up to not want to pay for the aging as the elderly are a higher percentage white then them. But I do get the statement you made.
