Radical is a mere term, such as a zealot was to judaism.

You may not find "radical" in the Koran, but that doesnt mean it isnt a reality in the Islamic world.

Fundamentalist Christians get alot of press, all bad from todays network media souces.

How about militant Islamists. That gives you their direction.
