Now, regarding the OP not being able to find Obama's Executive Order, what I have to say is that the problem with our conservative friends is that because they only listen to right-wing news, they don't get good information.

A person who actually follows the news instead of only taking in right-wing propaganda knows that Obama didn't sign an Executive Order on immigration. He signed two memorandums. One is called "Modernizing & Streamlining the U.S. Immigrant VISA System for the 21st Century", and the other is titled "Creating Welcoming Communities and Fully Integrating Immigrants and Refugees". That second one creates what is called the "White House Task Force on New Americans".

The President has begun the process of reforming a broken immigration system by issuing two directives which are fully within his constitutional powers. There is no amnesty in either of those directives. They are simply the precursor to making reforms. Of course, what the task force will find is that it costs a lot more money to taxpayers to do what Republicans want, which is to expand the federal government immeasurably so that there is enough government to knock on each and every one of our doors and ask us if an undocumented worker resides in our home.

The task force will no doubt conclude that people who are already employed and law-abiding should be allowed to go to the back of the line and pay penalties and back taxes in order to become citizens. Regular immigrants just need to fill out forms. These illegals would have to take responsibility and pay the consequences in order to get in line, and at the back.

That's great. It's about time. Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush simply passed Executive Orders and had it done with. President Obama isn't doing that, or at least, he hasn't done that yet. Unlike his two Republican predecessors, Obama is enlisting the help of government agencies like the Dept. of Justice and Homeland Security to co-ordinate among themselves so that the entire government is on the same page when reforms that they themselves will be drafting and approving finally are put into effect.

What Obama has signed has been in the Federal Registrar for like 2 weeks now and has been reported by many news sources, just not the right-wing ones apparently.

First, he issued memorandums Under his executive action. Not just memorandums. Second, please show me where he is requiring back taxes to be collected. Nowhere can I find this executive action requires the collection of back taxes. In 2013, it was discussed in Congress that back taxes should be collected, if they passed a bill, but also stated tbat would be difficult to do.
The President has said that w fee will be collected, of $680, which includes a biometrics fee. They will now accept credit cards, which they didn'-t in the past.
Whether you want to call it amnesty or not, some are going to be given amnesty.
