I can't find it now but I read where Big Pharma's up to 2 minute ad spots are so crowding the prime network and cable market that other advertisers can't even get a 30 second spot in without paying a fortune for them.

I guess that's what has happened to the old (and often entertaining) ads we used to love.

He's not stupid, he's correct in principle...Price controls are a dumb idea that never work.

But you are also correct in that congress is absolutely useless at best, if not entirely bought off.

I guess there is nothing saying that Big Pharma can't charge more for their drugs overseas.

As best as I can tell if they charge $100 for a pill overseas then they can charge $100 here.

Now if an overseas .gov wants to subsidize that cost that's on them.

While I do not think that price fixing is a good idea, I hope this is just another of Trumps let’s negotiate schemes.
But I do admit I am laughing at the democrats. To say they are crazy is an understatement. They were all in on dropping drug prices. They cheered when Biden dropped the price of insulin. But they go completely off the rails if Trump suggests dropping drug prices. It is utterly hilarious
