The saddest part, is that she's from Sderot. The same girl who now refuses to serve is the girl who probably cried like a baby years ago in hopes the IDF stops the rocket fire.

I cannot complain about her, though. She's just a child. I can complain that her parents raised her that way. Any southern civilian should be proud of the IDF, not resist it.

I said they are no different, no better and no worst, but then we do have some enlistees and generals who abuse their power (some actually like it).

We do not have the draft anymore in the US and when we did the wealthy got out of it by going to college and even getting married and having a child or simply by who they were. Then we got the lottery and now its by choice, and we are using more mercenaries now, saves on disabled veteran costs.

I would rather go back to the gunline in Vietnam rather than getting another summons for jury duty. Jury Duty is a civic duty that I endured more than once.
