They're not carpet bombing neighborhoods. They're using precision strikes on houses known to house Hamas militants.

If a Palestinian man has a right to defend his home, then he should defend it against Hamas. Because once Hamas starts using it, then Israel will level it. That's not Israel's problem.

The Palestinian people voted for Hamas. There are consequences to elections.
