So why is it being run via a special operations and intelligence veteran who's has served in the counterterrorism???

It's apparently a four day event at the Dead Sea which is being promoted as the "Pride Land'' festival. It is projected to be the largest ever gathering of its kind, complete with ''children's activities.''

''Alongside the nightlife, Pride Land will have cultural and art complexes, relaxation and scenic areas, and family-friendly areas with children's activities, family-friendly workshops, and customized events....The organizers hope to create a multigenerational “Pride City,” not just a party celebrating pride.''

Israel to Host ‘Pride Land’ Festival Near Site of Biblical Sodom and Gomorrah

''The Dead Sea region carries profound biblical significance. This area is where the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are referenced in the book of Genesis. These cities became enduring symbols of moral decline and rebellion against God.

According to Genesis 19, their destruction came after persistent wickedness and a refusal to turn from it. The account describes divine judgment falling in the form of fire and brimstone, permanently marking the region in biblical history.

One of the most striking moments tied to Sodom takes place in the home of Lot. As recorded in Genesis 19, two angelic visitors entered the city and were welcomed into Lot’s house. That night, men from the city surrounded the home and began beating on the door, demanding that Lot bring the visitors outside for them to have relations with. The scene is intense and deeply revealing. The crowd’s aggression and insistence reflected the depth of corruption within the city. The situation escalated to the point where the angels themselves intervened, striking the men with blindness.

Now, as we jump into today’s time in history, the location of a major pride celebration in this same region raises deeper spiritual questions. The same place known for homosexuality and moral rebellion is making a comeback with the exact same sins from thousands of years ago.

This contrast between ancient judgment and modern celebration highlights that the same patterns of the past are emerging again.''

Choice of location for the four day and night celebration seems ironic, huh?

One can be for the event being allowed to happen, and condemn the event as immoral.

It's that whole pesky freedom thing.

I don't need you to educate me on freedom.

As I'd mentioned in the OP...

''While people certainly have the right to freedom of association, the whole ''family friendly'' and ''children's activities'' being highlighted certainly begs questions in terms of the intent, given the organizer's statement that ''We chose to grow." I mean, let's be realistic. We've seen what kind of outlandish exhibitionism goes on at these types of events in recent reporting. Weirdos walking around half nekid in front of children, with dildos stuck on everything. Sheesh.''

All you did was repeat what I already said in the OP.
