Israel races to head off UN settlement 'blacklist'

in order to be a state, it has to have defined borders, israel has not defined it's borders

If it has no borders it can't very well be settling anything, then can it? If it's not a State then it's just a bunch of Jewish people living in places. No international law against that.

Problem solved.

Now you're starting with this philisophical BS? Sounds like you've taken a page out of Tinmore's book. North and South Korea also never defined their borders and are separated by an armistice line.

The Courts can recognize anything they want even what they call a fallacy as real or true.

US courts do not grant foreign statehood.
True, but they recognize it when it exists.

Where do the Palestinians exercise fully sovereignty?

Most Respectfully,

They can't due to illegal external interference.

Palestine is the poster child of illegal external interference. It hasn't gone a day without it for a hundred years.

Always excuses for what Arabs-Moslems can’t do.

Your al gee-had won't get that done. The bronze-age cabal of barbarian warlords, pirates, and general cutthroats surrounding Israel have learned their lessons the hard way that Israel is not to be messed with.

That leaves you.

Can we laugh now or later?

You still haven't told me what territory is outside Israel's sovereignty and therefore isn't allowed to have Jews living in it.

And what laws you are using to back up your claim.

The Israeli position is that she has legal and effective control over Area C and therefore is breaking no laws in Area C. Which is the only place she is building in.

It's a solid legal position.

So, it took you ten pages of circular nonsense, instead of coming right out and claiming that there are no Jewish settlers. Yawn.

Show us where the Arab Palestinians maintained sovereign territory.
  • Jordan had the West Bank and Jerusalem
  • Egypt had the Gaza Strip
  • Israel had the rest.
What did the Arab Palestinians have?
ψ You either have sovereign control of some territory, or you don't!

The topic of this thread concerns the list that is being published in a database by the UN of businesses in the illegal settlements. Israel wants to stop this. Care to offer your thoughts on the topic?

Who me? I posed a very simple question. It is you who have refused to answer it, creating the endless circles. Its called "getting the run around".

A Jewish person lives in Toronto. Settler or not settler? A Jewish person lives in Tel Aviv. Settler or not settler? An Arab lives in Haifa. Settler or not settler? A Jewish person lives in Gush Etzion. Settler or not settler? A Jewish person lives in the Old City of Jerusalem. Settler or not settler? A Jewish person lives in Gush Katif. Settler or not settler? An Arab lives in Nablus. Settler or not settler?

Point to me the law which says that Jewish people can't live in Area C. And if you are going to quote me Article 49(6) you must tell me:

1. Exactly which territory is occupied and who is the sovereign of that territory.
2. Why a treaty to which the Parties agreed should be ignored, a thing unheard of in IL.

You need to drop the zionist narrative that your computer spits out and realize that the rest of the international community, but for your sugar daddy, America, knows that the settlements are gross violations of both international law and commonly understood ideas of basic human rights.

Then you should very easily be able to tell me where in the world you, as a Jew, are permitted or not permitted to build a house. Its a simple question.

I actually have not seen either a civil or criminal charge to support slander under the color of law.

Article 2(7) UN Charter
Nothing contained in the present Charter shall authorize the United Nations to intervene in matters which are essentially within the domestic jurisdiction of any state or shall require the Members to submit such matters to settlement under the present Charter; but this principle shall not prejudice the application of enforcement measures under Chapter VII.

This is a domestic industrial matter. By agreement, the Arab Palestinians with complaints should avail themselves to the Dispute Resolution Process.

What Law are the complainants say are broken?

Occupations do not acquire sovereignty over territory.

A treaty is void if it calls for or allows violations of the people's rights.
