Israel Media Freedom: 112 out of 179 Countries

and arab press regularly post libels and half-truths to taint the news.
Hardly honest of reporting. Even US media expose their bias or fabricate news to sell headlines.
News should be balanced and collected from all sources. Corrections as news changes and more facts corrected should be widely circulated, not a one line on page ten of the classified, maybe.
Reporters without borders should be more honest themselves.

Do you read any Arab Newspapers?
Does a bear shit in the woods? Aris reads everything.

Mr. George must be talking about himself while in the toilet. Since Aris is part Lebanese, she can read Arabic while Mr. George can't. Basically all Mr. George can do is Cut and Paste while Aris is a well rounded person and certainly knows much, much more than Mr. George will ever know.

I get new from more than 900 sources online, and some off line. One of my feed is 984 sources. My list of news and information sites is more than ten pages.
Filters help break down and categorize my news but I still spend quite a bit of time reading and sharing news. I run four news papers and several blogs and a few other human interests spots to pin stories on a dozen topics.
I care about the middle east, it was my home, my heritage, my friends, my family. It used to be my work.
I got used to reading papers from around the world while very young.
During the war, sometimes there was little else to do but read and re-read every paper and book you can lay your hands on. Even when we had electric, we only had a couple hours of programing each evening of TV.
I wish everyone would read more, not just message board or propaganda sites. Read every point of view. There is usually some small items of truth in almost everything.
I rarely find any side of an issue, be it politics, religion or law, that is totally right. You listen or read and try to understand the issue as a whole.
Arabic papers from every country in the middle east and many others from around the world. Arab, Israeli, African, European, Asian, etc., I enjoy reading them all, or as many as a can during the day when I sit and relax.
I care about what is happening, so I always want to know the latest be it from the news or from people right there.

The same agency (Reporters Without Borders) which ranked Israel's media at 112 also ranked her neighbors:

Lebanon - 101
Jordan - 134
Palestine - 146
Iraq - 150
Egypt - 158
Pakistan - 159
Saudi Arabia - 163
Iran - 174
Syria - 176

So what is to be gained by reading the "news" from those fine Arab countries?

"There is usually some small items of truth in almost everything."
Aris mentioned that in her elegant reply to my snide comment to Hossfly.
I've noticed the same thing in my much more limited daily reads.
Most of us, myself included, aren't willing to confront cognitive bias.
Possibly that explains why communication is so rare among those who hold different political or economic views on this board.

What war were you living through when you would "read and re-read every paper and book you (could) lay your hands on"?

Tell me when whatever state

As expected, the weak turd has no ability to address facts raised that obliterate her claims. Must suck to be on the losing side of every argument, in every thread, every day.
Here's another chance for you to show your ability to address facts, J'*****:

"High-level talks between Israel and its Muslim neighbors regarding a nuclear weapons-free zone (NWFZ) in the Middle East have been canceled by the US and Israel.

"A nuclear weapons-free zone has been repeatedly proposed, only to have Israel – the only state in the region with nuclear weapons – reject it in favor of maintaining this nuclear monopoly, further destabilizing the region, and keeping the threat of others’ nukes as a primary excuse for its militarism."

What makes some Jews think they are so special?
The fact that certain individuals and groups won't get a life and a job making talking Israel and jews a full-time occupation. hehe

"NEW YORK – A combination of economic pressures, a rare indictment against a journalist for possession of confidential military documents, and limits on travel to neighboring states are among the reasons cited by the Washington think tank Freedom House for downgrading Israel’s 'press freedom' ranking from 'free' to 'partly free.'

"With 31 points in the 100-point scale, where a higher number represents more restrictions on press freedom, Israel is tied with Chile, South Korea, and Namibia in 65th place in a list of 197 countries. Close behind Israel in the index are Italy, India, and Greece."

Don't go down with the ship, Drivel

That freedom house sounds suspiciously like the south-californian bds homo congregation, indeed.

Non sequitur drivel.

Did anybody hear Netanyahu threatening to wipe out Iran and Syria this morning?
Neither did I.

Shame on you, Drivel.
Learn some new words.
Maybe the World's Smartest Jew can help?

"Noam Chomsky and Edward S. Herman have criticized the organization for excessively criticizing states opposed to US interests while being unduly sympathetic to regimes supportive of US interests.[36]

"According to Chomsky and Herman, Freedom House described the Rhodesian general election of 1979 as 'fair' but found the Southern Rhodesian 1980 elections as 'dubious'.[36]

"They said that Freedom House found El Salvador's 1982 election to be 'admirable'".

What makes some Jews think they are so special?

What makes turds like you - such complete failures in life - make them special by focusing on them every day?

Back on topic, the jew hating vermin and filth of course never mention the arab muslim countries, I wonder why...
Possibly because this thread deals with the Israeli media and its level of freedom?
