Israel making Republicans look incredibly foolish

What the people in Israel are paying attention to is that obama refused to meet with the Knesset. He refused to speak with any national leader beyond a couple of photo ops and had students bussed in to fill seats for his big speech.

The Jews are not the same fools americans are.

The endless posts at the USMB about how Obama is anti Israel and a Muslim? And not just at the USMB but at blogging sites across the Internet.

Why? Because Israel's leaders pretty much endorsed Mitt Romney. So Republicans felt, Wow, they hate Obama as much as we do.

Oops. In one visit, Obama has swept that away, leaving the American GOP reeling once again. The Republican Party of the Confederate South hates Obama. Their vitriolic hate is so great, they assumed the rest of the country felt the same. They were shocked, truly shocked to find out it wasn't true. They felt that at least Israel shared their hate. Now they find out that's not true. In fact, it's clear Obama is a hero to the younger generation in Israel. Did you see him get Israelis to applaud Palestinians? I couldn't believe that was happening.

The right wing believes knowing Jews when the "rapture" comes is very important. They feel God likes Jews more than anyone else. That Jews are Gods "favorites" and are hoping if they are close to Jews, some of that will "rub off". Right wingers think loving Jews is the key to their salvation without understanding that unbridled race based hatred for Obama is the key to their damnation.

It will be interesting to see how the right spins this in the next few weeks. Their hatred for Obama is so overwhelming, it blinds them to what their leaders are doing to them and what they are doing to the country.

Without their hatred blinding them, the Republican base would never support making disaster victims pay to be rescued or tax cuts for billionaires or taking away school lunch for poor children or supporting Republicans blocking the BP investigation or subsidies for oil companies or clips with a 100 bullets and so on.

And the incredibly stupid things they say - It's not that we hate him, we just don't like he's a Muslim Communist Socialist Marxist Fascist.

Actually, the right-wing ideology (on foreign policy, climate change, etc) is based upon God salvaging 12,000 Jews from each of the tribes to fulfill a covenant or some such shit, and casting the rest abandoned to a sadistic doom with the other heathens (Revelation 7-9)

aka, as a BUNCH OF HORSESHIT made up by man so he can manipulate the dullards. If God is so Omnipotent and powerful, he can make plagues, save people from disaster, etc. If he can do all of those things and MUCH more, why would he have to send his son down here to get tortured and die on a cross in order to forgive Our sins when he could simply just blink an eye and forgive Our sins without going through all of that bullshit?
