Well, look at the history. That they do.I was just wondering what would happen when the ceasefire talks fall apart.
I can't see an agreement.
Hamas needs egypt in order to succeed moving forward with it. If they piss of Egypt, I find it hard to see how their terms can be fullfilled.
It just seems like an odd coincident that whenever things are looking up on the Hamas/Egypt relationship, Egypt gets attacked.
Odd indeed.
Things are looking up for Hamas/Egypt relationship?
Are you high??
Hamas/Egypt relationship couldn't been worse.
What are you even talking about?!
The US has been paying Egypt a couple $B a year since 1979 to side with Israel. During this time the Egyptian people supported the Palestinians.
In the ceasefire negotiations, it was Egypt, Abbas, (the Abbas government survives on US money and political support) and Israel on one side against Hamas.
Morsi gets elected and he is sympathetic to Hamas. He had to go.
Sisi takes power but there have been major changes in the preceding years. He has problems with his people at home. The world is pushing to break the siege. The US is waffling on its blanket support of Israel. Abbas sides with Hamas to break the siege.
Then Egypt gets attacked and Sisi has his excuse to clamp down on Gaza.
