Israel Building More Settlements

There is a severe housing shortage in Israel.
New settlements are selling out like crazy.
But you know what really sucks that these psycho Jews are doing?
They're laying down infrastructure...pipes, wire, concrete, roads...all the crap that makes a civilization.
Damn, I hate these Jews!

And, they're NOT using headstones from Muslim graves to make those sewers, either.

It keeps PA workers such as bricklayers, plasterers, plumbers, electricians and plasterers in work. Imagine that lot twiddling their thumbs all day.

These idiots who want Isreal to dismantle the settlements probably think they're just a bunch of huts as opposed to sophiticated architecture.

No, my friends, the WBJs live in huts because Arafat and all the other Arab "leaders" pilfered the money.

What did we get after dismantling Gush Katif in Gaza? Rockets.

Which is why the same mistake won't be made again.

In the psyche of a Jew hater, "That's a good deal!".

Israel does not want a peace accord or a Palestinian state, they want the West Bank and East Jerusalem for themselves. There will never be an independent Palestinian state, get over it.

Israel is the only one that is trying to give the palestinians a state, but it must not leave Israel vulnerable at some later point.
Hamas would not agree to any negotiations of an accord with Israel. Abbas is just killing time and looking for a weakness in Israel.

Excellent news!

Statistics: Judea and Samaria Building Up 123.7%

Peace Now irked at the revelation, blames Netanyahu government; meanwhile, building is up all over Israel.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) revealed Monday that new construction in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) increased by 123.7% in 2013.

The announcement surfaces several hours before Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is due to meet with US President Barack Obama to discuss a possible building freeze in the area.

The high number is due to the fact that a partial freeze was still in effect at the beginning of 2012, CBS noted, thus pushing off much of that year's construction until the beginning of 2013.

Far-left group Peace attacked the statistics, according to AFP.

"It's official, the Netanyahu government is committed to only one thing: building settlements," the group claimed. "It shows the lack of commitment to negotiations."

The statistics note that the trend is not isolated to Judea and Samaria, however; construction of Jewish homes across Israel rose by 3.4% overall since 2012. The announcement follows the declaration earlier this week that 50,000 new homes will be built in Netanya.

While Judea and Samaria saw the most construction by region in 2013, other areas of Israel also saw immense growth over the past year. The Negev saw a 12% rise in construction; Haifa came in third with 8% growth. Jerusalem saw a 3% construction increase; Central Israel, a 2% increase; and the North saw a 1% increase.

By contrast, the Tel Aviv area saw a 19% decline in building in 2013.

Overall, 41,970 apartments were completed in 2013, up 11.8% from 2012. Of those, one third (33%) were in buildings holding two or fewer single-family apartments.

Kerry, Abbas Knew of Building Plans in Advance

In a press conference in Brazil, US Secretary of State says Netanyahu had been "completely up front" about building from the start.

US Secretary of State John Kerry revealed Tuesday that he and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas were fully aware that the Israeli government intended to continue building in parts of Judea and Samaria which "will not affect the peace map" when the decision was made to restart talks.

As such, despite the "outcry" by the Palestinian Authority, Abbas is still committed to talks with Israel over the next nine months, he said.

At a press conference in Brazil, Kerry declared that "the policy of the United States with respect to all settlements, is that they are illegitimate."

"But, that said, (Israeli) Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was completely up front with me and with president Abbas that he would be announcing some additional building in places that will not affect the peace map, that will not have any impact on the capacity to have a peace agreement," he continued.

Kerry also stressed the "urgency to get into the discussion of borders and security".

In Colombia on Monday, the US chief diplomat urged the Palestinian Authority "not to react adversely" to the Israeli announcement and stressed the need to return to the negotiating table.

With a fresh peace dialogue in its early stages after a three-year hiatus, the approval of almost 1,200 housing units in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria has triggered angry condemnations from the PA.

However, as noted in a previous Arutz Sheva report, much of the allegedly "new" construction projects were actually commissioned back in 2012.

That fact, coupled with the fact that the PA was apparently aware of the upcoming announcements in advance - and had nevertheless agreed to resume negotiations - suggests a choreographed response to events which really have little if no impact on talks.

Meanwhile, ongoing Palestinian Authority incitement, anti-Semitism and attacks on the very legitimacy of the State of Israel continue regardless of negotiations - to a chorus of deafening silence from the international community.

That's great news, Caroline. I'm sure they appreciate the work to bring in an income for their families.

Jews have to ride in bullet-proof busses to visit the tombs of their ancestors.

Have you seen this?

Savages.

The video mentioned that an Israeli soldier was killed at the Tomb. He was actually an Israeli-Arab soldier. He was allowed to bleed to death by his fellow Arabs before the Israelis could save him.

Anyways, respect for other peoples' holy places should be a given. I heard once that there was a proposal to carry Joseph's remains to Jerusalem and re-bury him there because we simply can't trust the Arabs. Like one Jew said in this video, "It's like we sold out our brother Joseph all over again."
