Oh yes - let's not condemn the Israeli's for they can do no wrong.
Lets not condemn you for your double standard or the Palestinians brutally killing an entire family including the beheading of their infant son with Palestinian approval !!!
You are talking about the brutal murder of the Fogel family? That's an old story, much commented on in earlier threads, and yes I've strongly condemned it. Perhaps before throwing around stupid ass comments you read what people actually write instead of assuming that because they're pro- this or pro-that they must believe a certain thing. There is no excuse for the targeting and murder of civilians. None.
The idea of a rule against targeting and murder of civilians isn't very helpful if one side has a military and the other doesn't. According to American-Israeli propaganda, Israel has a "Defense" Force and a civilian population while the Palestinians have a civilian population and a bunch of terrorists. Ho hum... That Israeli Defense Force has been on the offensive for fifty years.
Israel's military kills Palestinian civilians. That's all they can kill because the Palestinians don't have a military. They have irregulars, francs-tireurs, terrorists, geurrilleros etc. but no regular troops, no air force no navy. This is what we call asymmetrical warfare. It is not played by classical European rules.
Israel's military kills Palestinians civilians because Palestinian terrorists make sure they're the first one in line of fire. They have an army, they call it "the military wing" of each organization. They have their brigades and they have their ground and navy units. What differs them from other "armies" is that they don't have ethnic rules of any known army whatsoever.
A "military wing" is not a modern army. These groups are light infantry without artillery except for some harmless rockets, no armor, no radar, no transportation. The few naval units are mere frogmen. They have no ability to engage ships. They have no aircraft. To think of them as anything more than skirmishers with guerrilla capability is to believe their propaganda or to make your own.
Whether one thinks it acceptable under international law to drop high explosive ordinance on buildings where members of these military wings may be holed up is an interesting question. The World Court and other UN investigatory agencies have unanimously ruled that while these "wings" are not entitled to impunity, the restriction against "excessive force" must be respected.
The dispositive fact about using conventional, high-tech military assets against these "wings" is that its benefits are outweighed by its costs. Bombing the civilian bases of these "wings" in Gaza, Lebanon or the Bekaa Valley does prevent incursion into Israeli territory, an adventure with no chance of success in any case, but at a price of solidifying radical opposition and building international support. It is the classic mistake in counter-insurgency warfare.
