Is USMB going to respond to the multiple questions and complaints about the site issues?

It's been going on for what, a week, now? Is it a temporary thing, or is this just the way it goes now?

Because if it is I'm going to start looking for some other site.

Bogging down, getting "bad gateway" messages, can't navigate.

I recently joined here & have have a ton of connectivity issues. Actually surprised I could log in just now. I also see there are multiple threads concerning the issue but I don't see any real concern from TPTB.

But it is cool though, with our membership here we get access to all the premium content on all of them.

My friend suggested getting a VPN whatever that is and he said it clears up the server.

A VPN is a Virtual Private Network and it hides one's location/identity, does nothing regarding "clearing" servers whatever the hell that means.

Yes...I went back to another board for a few days due to all the glitches...just checking in today to see if things are any better and the first thing I notice is that their Alert system is now also messed up. Previously when i clicked on an alert message it took me right to the site...no longer.

Perhaps limit thread starters to something like 60 threads a month. One guy started over 300 threads in a month; 10+ per day. It may help the traffic issue (seems like that would help the speed).

What the posters are asking for is some recognition of the problems and any explanations available as in simply do not ignore us. Complaining about my complaining is not helpful(do you want honest feedback or nor) but at least you are giving some recognition to the glitches and hopefully things will improve.

I have mentioned this before and I maybe need to say it again...very few boards have a forum like this where the posters can give feedback etc. So that is a good thing and the powers that be should be congratulated for allowing it.

The arrogance of so many administrators on so many message boards is a huge problem...something that should be avoided as much as possible. Are we not all adults here? Why engage in childish games?

Transparency in all aspects I think should be a goal. You may not like complaints(who does)yet if listened to honestly then improvements could be made. No problem is ever solved until there is a recognition there is a problem.

Stop whining again, why do you whine so much? It has already been explained that mods have NOTHING to do with Admin or Admin Tech and that mods cannot fix any problem that occur with the server or the software, for that the contact and solution has to be with Admin or Admin Tech.
