Back in 1968, Mel Brooks directed "The Producers", a movie about two Broadway producers who try to produce the worst play in history in order to create a flop and make a lot of money. They do so by getting the worst play they can find ("Springtime for Hitler") and hire the worst actor and worst director.

The play ends up becoming a smash hit because it is inadvertently hilarious.

I am wondering if the Trump campaign with its racist candidate and the wife-beating campaign manager and crazy supporters are doing the same thing.

Hillary Clinton is equivalent to the person lying about everything and seeing just how ridiculous things people are willing to swallow, in an attempt to garner ever increasing amount of votes.
