Despite working on business dealings in Russia, Trump denied it during the 2016 campaign. When he was finally outed as lying, he claimed everyone knew about it! And his followers did an Orwellian acceptance of these lies.

These, and other examples, explain Trump's weakness with Putin. This explains why Putin has no fear of Trump and has intensely ramped up his drone and missile attacks on Ukrainian civilians since Trump was sworn in. Trump came back from Saudi Arabia and immediately began parroting Putin's lies and propaganda. Team Trump began calling Zelensky a dictator (talk about irony!) and summoned him to the White House for the most disgraceful shaming of an ally in the history of America.

Trump having shown whose side he was on, the drones and missiles began falling heavier and harder on Ukraine.

Still unable to face the reality his best friend was ***** slapping him, Trump announced he was going to provide Ukraine DEFENSIVE weapons. Trump STILL won't provide Ukraine the means to get Putin out of Ukraine and get their country back. Ukraine needs OFFENSIVE weapons.

The appeasers of the 70s and 80s made the same noises MAGAs make. They whimpered about World War III. They took Russia's side over our allies'. They curled up in the fetal position and sucked their thumbs.

He's learning this about trade negotiations too as I can assure you that foreign nations are trying to hold out until the Mid-Terms, perhaps with some backdoor encouragement by Dem politicians who don't want to see Trump succeed.

Trump is now, finally (who knows?), hitting nations with big tariffs to persuade them to come to a trade agreement. The sooner he does it the better, because once there is a threshold passed in which the MidTerms are coming up, nations will stall indefinitely.

By the way, I would place China on the top of this heap, they have no desire to come to a real trade agreement, nor will they honour it, so...

The only "peace deal" Putin wants is to keep everything he has seized.

If Trump had accepted that, he'd be the modern day Neville "Peace In Our Time" Chamberlain.

And just like Hitler did after a series of victories, Putin would wipe his ass with Trump's "peace deal" and take ALL of Ukraine.
