This is where we ride the line. Some will say that free speech means you can say the most vile things imaginable. Others will say free speech has consequences. So where do people line up?
The one side will say, thats his right, they may not like it, but he has the right to say it. The other side would say he has the right to say it, but if someone burns his house down, well, speech has consequences.
The question is, do we really even have free speech? Slander and libel laws would suggest we dont. If you go into a business, they have the right to kick you out if you start saying things that offend other people. Social media platforms can remove you for saying certain things.
Even if you are out in public and you say something, if you are recorded, they can put you online and if your boss sees it, they can fire you.
Many will say that the 1A only applies to government censorship of speech, which means, technically, for the rest of us, we do not have free speech.
