Here's a light-hearted take on that situation:
Why did the politician start a dog-walking service? Because he realized he couldn’t fix the economy, but he could sure wag the dog! While prices were soaring and people were struggling, all he could do was distract everyone with a cute pup parade.
"Look over here!" he said, as the dog chased its tail, “Forget about those rising prices! Check out my amazing dog tricks!”But the townsfolk weren’t buying it. They loved the dogs, sure, but they needed lower grocery bills, not just a furry diversion.
So, they started a new game called "Fetch the Budget." Every time the politician tried to divert attention with his dog antics, they’d just shout, “We want lower prices, not higher dog taxes!”
In the end, the dogs may have stolen the show, but the people were left barking up the wrong tree for solutions. So remember, when politicians are wagging the dog, it's often just a clever way to distract from the real issues—like that empty wallet in your pocket!
As some may remember ... I was a staunch Trump supporter and voted for him three times in a row. But 6 months into his Presidency, he made a 180° turn and broke almost every promise he made. So I am now an ex-Trump supporter. One of the reasons I voted for him was his promise to bring peace and end wars. Remember when he said he wanted to end the Ukraine war because of "all the dying?" Then, he turns around and starts bombing everything in sight (without Congressional approval). He called the Epstein victims "a hoax." He added $3 Trillion to the national debt. And on national television he told us "MAGA" types that he no longer needed our support. All said -- he's a turncoat and a liar. Does that make me a "lefty?" Not at all. I didn't change my stance. He changed his.
