I ask this because we've had some MAJOR changes in standards from the left as far as the "law"

As the left tried to accuse Trump of crimes, we regularly heard from Democrat politicians, pundits, and voters that nobody is above the law, and if you break the law you deserve the consequences.

Now compare that to the current illegal immigration issue.. where the same people are now saying the law is invalid and that it's just to oppose the law.

How do Democrats reconcile this?

Laws are never absolute, they are always applied with prosecutorial discretion.

Would I be able to go through your post history and find you saying the same remark on the law when Trump is brought up?

Be honest. I think we both know the answer, so you have to explain your blatant double standard

You would NOT be able to go through my post history and find me saying anything different on the law when Trump is brought up. Happy hunting.

In my state, recreational marijuana is now legal. People who were imprisoned only for possession were released and had their records wiped. The speed of laws being changed is between weather change and climate change.

Yes, laws can change.. but that’s the thing, they have to change in order to change.

Right now ICE is acting lawfully, and the Democrats are riling up (and funding) agitators to escalate and obstruct.. causing occasional miscommunications and misinterpretations that lead to bad results… which does lead to positive optics for the left.

I think the DNC brain trust is thrilled the woman and guy are dead. I think they hoped they could get some pawns to die so they could have emotional appeals for 2026 and 2028. That’s why they continue to up the temperature and vile rhetoric.. maybe they can even get another assassination attempt on Trump (that would be their ultimate Xmas gift)

However, the issue is the narrative. Notice how it’s suddenly virtuous to break the law on the left, but when Trump was fighting against his cases the same people were repeatedly declaring the law is absolute and cannot be questioned…

I mean, we all know what’s happening here. There’s no standards.

Well Trump was convicted of crimes; the left isn’t trying to accuse him of anything. A jury convicted him. 34 times.

How do Democrats reconcile this?

Democrats don't reconcile anything. They do not analyze and adjust their policies based on truth and veracity---

Their hypocritical policies are their policies, and it is a fool's errand to waste time hoping they will figure out what liars, thieves, crooks and hypocrites they are.

Wrong. A jury convicted him once. But on 34 counts.

And it won’t matter for long anyway. It’s all primed for a reversal and a dismissal.
