I'm not sure that the Republicans are deliberately trying to sabotage our economic recovery. It's more likely that they just don't care. People making less than $100K a year, which is most of us, don't contribute much to their reelection campaigns. The GOP has always supported the guys with the deepest pockets, the big multi-national corporations and the mega-rich millionaires and billionaires. You and I don't get to sniff this rarefied air, much less play in it. And on the outside looking in with their noses pressed against the glass is just as many Republicans as Democrats. I think they care and slow play, making an effort to slow recovery until after the 2012 election is planned. They have flipped flop too often for it to not be a strategy.

There was a reason why the US people kicked the Democrats and their failed policies out of the House- they were not and have not been working
