When fraudsters shout about "green" it does not greatly affect the volume of crude fuel, because electric cars consume basically the same energy of burning, only through wires. But the noise around the greenery itself knocks down the exchange prices for oil, and America loses on this.

Tax breaks to corporations are not "subsidies." Do you consider that tax refund check or tax allowances you get every year, as "free" money the government gives you?

No. Those are just less money in taxes that you have to pay in to the government. In other words, the government allows you to keep more of the money you earned. Just like those "subsidies", in which oil companies are allowed to keep more of the money they earned.

I don't know how many times this has to be explained to you before you finally get it. Perhaps you never will.

Well that can all be easily solved simply by taking out an insurance policy on the Sun.

America is 'supposed' to be self sufficient on oil and some even try to claim on 'fossil fuels' too. It's not but your argument spills the beans doesn't it!
