seen as a money.making firm only.

What do you think?
I think that was Hubbard's intention, yeah. Why doesn't it qualify as a religion? Most of them profit in one way or another.

.

My experiences with them, through acquaintances, got them labeled as crooks who can actually be physically harmful to the health of their "members".

Scientology is a pyramid scheme pretending to be religion much like the Landmark Forum another fake pyramid scheme. It began with EST the original scam that takes advantage of vulnerable people

I sometimes wonder if the Church of Scientology is actually a front for the CIA in Hollywood. A place where they can indoctrinate actors to participate in social engineering and propaganda via entertainment and media. Seems those who don't follow the program or are too willful sometimes have bad things happen to them.

Scientology was Hubbard's attempt to create a religion based on something rational. It was only barely rational, but I guess he tried at least.

Hubbard made scientology a religion for tax purposes. But its members do act as though they are in a cult.

And they even have their own creation myth.

Sure seems like a religion.

Amway is not officially a religion, but they also seem to be rather cultish. And the way its adherents proselytize to try to add more people to the pyramid is very religous-y.

Makes about as much sense as any of the other cults known as religion.

as long as it is tax exempt, then it is & those freaks who believe can get their tax breaks too.
