Speaking of apologies I am a Canadian who likes history who feels really guilty about the way that my Canadian ancestors and distant relatives behaved from 1740 to 1775!

I believe that Canadian ignorance of the big picture virtually forced you Americans into the American Revolutionary War? [I use the term "Canadian" somewhat lightly because it is a fact of our history that technically Canada did not fully exist until 1867]!

I believe that we Canadians owe the United States an apology for how our ancestors treated our ally The United States from 1740 to 1775. It is my belief that the exaggerated obedience of Canadian elected officials to London made the American Revolutionary War almost impossible to avoid.

Most historians would argue that James Buchanan was the worst because his lack of vision and action helped lead to the Civil War.
I would argue that Joe Biden surpassed him and his actions (opening the borders) could well eventually lead to another civil war.
