-The CR had to pass, because the alternative was to give Donald Trump unchecked control over the executive branch, with freedom to layoff, or call to work employees as he wants for any or no reason.
-Some Democrats are misleadingly conflating the CR with the reconciliation bill. The CR has no cuts to Medicaid, for example.
-He refused to comment on the AOC-Chuck Shumer feud, which you will see a few seconds of at the beginning of 24:00 before he appears at 24:30.
-The Party needs to offer the American voter an alternative to Trump, not just oppose Trump at every turn.

The Face the Nation "journalist" gives him plenty of time to answer questions without interrupting him.

Blue Dog. Haven't needed to use that term in a long time. The Democratic Party no longer needs the Blue Dogs. They want people who vote for them because they fully embrace their most radical policies, not in spite of their radical policies.
