Is it time to talk about and imagine one party rule? Right now, an America without Democrats looks pretty good doesn’t it?

It's still much easier than doing the heavy lifting of collaboration. Like, say, the Constitution.

Just hate and dehumanize the "other". Pound on 'em. That's the ticket.

The French during WWII were notorious collaborater's.
I think you meant to use the word submission.

Oh the irony of the bold part of your post here Mac....That's all you do....

To answer the OP.... No, one party rule is neither good nor proper regardless of the party that tries it....It, throughout history has always led to strongman dictators, and failed policies...

What needs to happen is that Democrats have to weed out, and drive out the progressive scourge within their own party before it is destroyed.

After Reagan and just before Trump, we had one-party rule as both Bush's turned out to be poisonously submissive!
Trump came along and broke our Country out of this hypnotic spell!!
Thank God.
Trump understands what iss going on in this country

liberals may have half a clue sometimes (?) but it doesn't matter much bc they ignore such suspicions they may infrequently entertain... end up still apathetic re America (at best)

want to destroy it, actually... so they can "rebuild" it... in their own sick, vile image....

who can save the USA?

Anyone who is for having choices to make for themselves and their country is not a proponent of a one-party rule, which is another way of saying a totalitarian state. Should we not have a robust debate about how much spending the gov't does and on what and how high our taxes should be? Too little gov't control can lead to unfortunate outcomes just as too much control can. Human nature being what it is, I don't think a one-party gov't is a good idea; IMHO, we need to be able to vote the bastards out if we ain't happy with the job they're doing.

Trump revealed how the Dimm's politically weaponized the unelected 'deep state'; and if we can do something to stem this tide, every freedom and liberty loving American should be eternally grateful!!
what should we do?

?

2 party is about same as 1

:(

If there was to be one party rule then Democrats would be the most likely....

At present the have GOP have only won one popular vote for Present since 1988... 1992 could have gone either way without Perot but the rest were all wins for Dem apart from 2004...

Tough to do with rigged elections.
Just ask Maduro who just got 're-elected' again as Venezuelan's continue to stream to our open border.

??? Not hardly. In a one-party gov't, the names and faces may change but the gov't doesn't. Witness the 2010 mid-term election when the Dems got thrown out in the House. That doesn't happen in a one-party system, it's like voting in Russia where the winner is already determined. But in a 2-party system, you can't just do what you want cuz you are going to have to run for re-election against somebody that can beat you, at least in some places.

I don't believe Venezuela is actually a 2-party gov't.

Rigged elections are a problem that has to be constantly monitored to ensure the elections are honest. Which is one reason why the federal gov't shouldn't be in charge of it. It's tough to do, but necessary. A representative gov't is not easy; it requires an informed public which unfortunately we don't have, at least as much as it should be.
