This nightmare is the result of the democrat party, once again, making stupid decisions. Don’t try blaming republicans for exposing it.

No, it's rarely time to do something that drastic. We had PM Mulroney who wisely separated the spy agency from the RCMP and created CSIS, but that is because the RCMP had run amok, Burning barns, entrapping (they still happily engage in entrapment, as do the Toronto and Ontario police, a function of a centralized, socialist system that wants "order" and not "law") and using agent provocateurs.
As it were, CSIS ended up being almost as bad, in fact, we had dirty RCMP agents just quit the intel from the former agency and get hired by CSIS. Bloody joke.
Ultimately, it's going to take some honest, very loyal current and former FBI agents to speak out and support cleaning bad apples and high ranking Obama leftovers. I am sometimes blindly loyal to history, and the FBI are definitely one of the best, and outside of the few bad years with J Edgar Hoover (against a very dangerous and real threat from the Communists which created the hysteria), the FBI have been very good.
This situation is going to have an impact, but one should not jerk the knee and assume the entire agency is bad, it's absolutely not. They still keep Americans and others fairly safe, especially considering how man foreign enemies America has from China, Russia and even allies.

No matter what governmental or private agency you point to, they are made up of individuals and as such, each individual will have his or her political bias. The only difficulty is that you can never know if the individual will act out of his or her own bias. The FBI is obviously no exception. The rank and file members go about their daily jobs trying to solve federal criminal activities and are loyal to the nation as a whole, it is only when a biased senior representative acts outside his or her purview to harm those the he/she dislikes that we have such matters occur. The FBI remains overall, dedicated to serving our nation honorably.

Why should we dismantle the FBI just because Trump can't keep from illegally dealing with Russia?
Of course not....
but it is getting close to the time to remove the head of the Intel committee in the House and put someone else in there.... he's proven himself to be a partisan hack for the Executive office, the very office that the Intel Committee was CREATED for....to oversee the Executive branch.....right after Watergate.....
And certainly NOT to be joined at the hip with them to obstruct and interfere with an ongoing investigation of the Russians and the Executive branch....through the obfuscation of top secret info recklessly by the President and created by a first year law student being paid $40 k as a staffer for Nunes and with the help of white house aids....
Me thinks the crooks and deceivers through the lack of transparency and full disclosure, are the R's in this matter....
The courts have already ruled that just because information could have been gathered by an informant for partisan reasons, is no reason to disqualify the evidence.
Also the right wing created hot air memo, included the admission, in the very last paragraph, that this Russian Investigation did NOT BEGIN with the Dossier, but through Papadopolous......
so all this bull crap by the Trumpster, that some fake dossier began all of this, is BULL SHIT, as usual....the man of lawlessness, is lying....has been lying and probably always will continue to lie.....

BTW, Carter Page said in a tv interview in Oct 2017, that we all thought was crazy at the time....
He said last year, that he could not wait for Paul Ryan to release the information they had on his FISA warrant so everyone could see his innocence or something of the sort....
it was really weird, on the Chris Hayes show, who had Page on several times last year....
So the Democratic members of the intel committee find out less than 2 weeks ago about this memo that Paul Ryan gave Nunes the permission to release....
was KNOWN to Carter Page, back in OCTOBER of last year.....???
WHAT IN THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE with this game the R's are playing, in coordination with the White House??
