"And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female." 2 of every living thing, so how did kangaroos get there and back?
1Co 2:13
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
You didn't answer my question.
I am not obligated to answer your question. I'm kind'a busy with other things this morning and so ask another day when I have more time. And actually that was an answer.
So you have nothing because you're too busy flipping burgers. Got it.
I simply do not jump at your beckon call. Neither does God and that apparently has you miffed for some reason.
Again you had a chance to answer and you deflected again. You officially have nothing.

Mudda inquires >So when the bible says 2 of every animal, what does it mean to you?

And, how do you know that your made up interpretation of a section that you deem not true is the right one?

Rodishi responds> Two of every kind, host of each type, one for the carnal portion of the human, one for the spiritual portion that is the son of God.

You are the one that seems to lack understanding and are trying to "deem" the word as not being true.

Proverbs 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

Gen 6:17
And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth (as opposed to heaven), to destroy all flesh (carnal-flesh as frail or erring portions of the human against God), wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Gen 6:18
But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.
Gen 6:19
And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

The Book of Enoch also confirms this. The animals inside the Ark (that holy place in the spirit in the temple, a place in the mind which the spiritual host of 'rest' [Noah] builds) chases away the animals (beastly things) outside of the Ark .

Then Mudda continues in this confused state because Mudda lacks understanding and apparently either reads an altered version of the Bible or is making up their own words as their mind can't comprehend.

Mudda can't get there so Mudda continues in that confuse state and the Ark is a boat in Mudda's mind even though Rodishi already explained to Mudda what that ark is referencing for the spirit in each human;
Mudda says> 2 of every animal on his boat. That means kangaroos. So how did they get to the boat?

Mudda now says> You didn't answer my question.

Now Mudda says> Again you had a chance to answer and you deflected again. You officially have nothing.

No you keep things in the WORD twisted in your little head and for some reason you believe it is up to me to untwist it for you and its not. The answer is there and you refuse to hear it. Is your mind stuck in childhood mode with man-made images of what God is? It must be because you desire to change what the WORD actually says into your imagery. You have something from your own imagination you desire to impress and its not sticking so you are frustrated. That is a personal problem you have that you will have to work on. Its yours, not mine or the others who you desire to keep playing with in the mud.

What names are you imagining that I called you?
Did you get high and it hasn't worn off yet or does your mind just automatically twist and change words around? Perhaps its merely a comprehension problem that you have and someone locally near you can help you with that issue.

Looks like Mudda has gone off the deep end! Thanks for the laughs!
So I guess you must know how Noah got marsupials from Australia onto his boat?

Never said I did, did I? I think you are hilarious and funny, you are here to entertain me and you do it well. Keep up the good work.
So you read the bible but know shit about it?

Did I say I read the Bible, the thread is about "Is it okay to read the Bible?"

Yes it is, nothing wrong with reading the Bible. Not sure why you want to know about marsupials, they seem to be still around. Also it is highly doubtful that your marsupials would have been just in Australia back then.

According to the Bible there was a cloud cover which held a lot of water over the earth, it also evened out the temperatures all around the global.

Just my two cents, I wasn't there and I don't speculate very much on that, like you seem to do.

But yes, it's okay to read the Bible.

But yes, it's okay to read the Bible.
As fictional entertainment? As a guide for life? As something to do while you're laying cable?

You can use it for whatever you want to use it for, I don't care if you read it or not, it should be available to read if one so chooses.
Like Mein Kampf should be?

If that is your desire, then read it. I don't care what you read or don't read or how you take it. It is not my business. Why are you wanting to censor books?

To answer the question, there should be no discussion on whether people should be allowed to read a book. Were you expecting a different answer for Mein Kampf or the Bible? Still haven't got a point asking your silly questions? :dunno:

Just as Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables......'those who have ears, let them hear'
What Jesus is supposed to have said is all hearsay, written generations after the facts.

And the Bible was written by many different people over hundreds of years........all inspired by God.

Without faith, the Bible doesn't make a lick of sense. Yet read in faith, it makes perfect sense.

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
Ok, "inspired by god". Not the word of god. So you're quoting the bible, is that section true? Or is it like Noah's boat story, false? How do you tell which is true and which isn't? And then how do you know that your made up interpretation of the stuff you deem untrue is the right one?

That's what faith is and when you are in His faith, the answers are there for you to discern right from wrong, true from untrue. But without His faith you will never figure it out...........and it's impossible for one of faith to ever fully explain to those without faith, the answers you seek.
So since faith is the belief in things unprovable, I have to suspend reality to get your god's love? That doesn't make any sense. Why wouldn't your god come and meet me in reality?

Faith and Love are two very different things. We Christians have Faith in what is unseen, because it's in our hearts. But God's love is unconditional to all who seek Him. There is nothing you can do to get or lose His love, it's a gift to all.........but few are willing to accept it.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,
in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
not by works, so that no one can boast.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

If you ask because you are searching for the Truth, you will find it. But if you ask to justify your doubt, you never will
