Trump is only one profoundly damaged guy.

Any blame for anything he is involved in should go to those who enable him, follow him, and support him.

It's been that way throughout history.

The United States has more air traffic than any country on Earth by an enormous margin. We have most of the biggest airports on the planet too, and many of those are next to dense groups of people. It seems to me that that's a pretty hard situation to control during a pandemic.

Is it realistic to think that under different leadership the United States would have avoided or heavily mitigated this situation?

Should Donald Trump be blamed in the manner that he often is by the left, or could some of the criticism possibly be called unfair?
It’s a good question. Nothing would have stoped the spread. You can blame Donald for minimizing the risk and conditioning American to divide response among party lines. That is the most damaging impact of Donald. Development of the vaccines was solid. Props. Rollout was a disaster due to the poisoning of the well by republicans who seeded party loyalty to not getting vaccinated. Insane.

A Trump supporter
I would never vote for Trump. I just don't think he's as bad as many on the left make him out to be. I don't think conservatives in general are as bad as many on the left make them out to be, and vise versa. I think it's important for me to keep my own bias in check. I'm more critical of the left because that's the way I lean and I expect better from the left. Criticizing your own side is important, and most of you are awful about it.

When my side got 1.18% of the vote, it is hard to find any of them to criticize. I criticize both the left and the right, both Trump and Biden in equal measure. That is why on this very forum I got called a left wing nazi and a Right wing Trump lover within 20 minutes of each other.

Mostly what I do is present facts like I did with BL and those spreading the false information on COVID deaths in this thread.

According to Deborah Birx, Trump’s coronavirus reponse coordinator, 30 -40% of Covid deaths could have been avoided if Trump has issued mask mandates sooner and had not hired such advisers as the inept and dangerous Scott Atlas.

Based on Birx’s statistics approximately 130,000 died because of Trump’s ineptitude.

So, yes, we can blame Trump for his failed policies that led to tens of thousands unnecessary deaths.

There is a difference between covering up, knowingly providing false information, and encouraging public disobedience of lawful common-sense restrictions and minimizing public panic while gathering data and preparing responses.

I don't expect you could understand that, well, because you're a Tiny Minded Querdenken.
Again, they all did that. You wont agree, and thats ok. Apparently you are part of the cult. You cant help yourself.
Maybe not the disobedience part, though. Those being "lawful" is debatable.

No, Trump didn't.
Obviously you weren't paying attention to the quacks trump marched out as experts.
No obviously you weren't paying attention, but anyway is that a distraction from Biden's screw up on this matter?

He can't get all of the blame. But, we can blame the right-wing for being anti-mask and anti-vax.

You know NOTHING about Korea or Koreans. Nothing at all. I suppose you're another white Democrat racist
Trump is a malignant psychopath who was more concerned with getting reelected then saving lives. And Kushner was on board with the whole scam when Trump was lying thru his filthy yap about what was happening.

Trump is the lowest form of human life & the worst human being ever elected to a high office in the history of this Country.

Trump must be blamed for some of it since he kept Fausti and scarf bitch around. The biggest share of the blame should go to the 50 little dictators who lept at the opportunity to exercise powers that weren’t theirs to wield.

Only because he didn't fire Fauci. Oh, wait. Fauci practices omeurta for the information-is-all left. Wonder what else he lied about since investigators into the funding of Wuhan virus figured out he is the one who put taxpayer money into the hands of very hostile enemies of this country. :cranky:

I am genuinely curious, what would you have Biden do differently in regards to the pandemic?

Actually let doctors prescribe alternative medicines for the treatment of covid instead of relying on the vaccine alone. The alternatives work.

How is Biden or the Fed Govt stopping that from happening?
