Ironically, America would be better off today if this were the 20th anniversary of a single-payer healthcare system advocated by then First Lady Hillary Clinton.
She was right and everyone who opposed her was wrong.
On some things she's like Bill, on others like Barry, but yet on others she's her own person and healthcare is the biggie. If America had had 20 years without a pimp (insurance companies) as its middle man in healthcare, the national debt would be remarkably smaller and more families would have peace of mind and more money to spend on other things, or to save.
Republicans will do their best to try to make Hillary seem out of touch with regular folks, but I don't think anyone other than partisan Republicans will buy it.
She's not like either of them. She's much more like Margaret Thatcher, but on the opposite side politically. Republicans are scared to death of her because they know she will eat them alive, unlike Obama who has allowed them to push him around consistently.
Obama thought he was dealing with normal human beings, not sociopaths who are willing to destroy the country to make him look bad, is what I've come to believe.
