Trump’s Strategy for Contesting the Election: Throw Out Black People’s Votes
His legal maneuvers are targeting areas like Detroit, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia.

On Tuesday night, when two Republicans on the canvassing board in Wayne County, Michigan, initially refused to certify the election results, GOP board chair Monica Palmer said she would be open to certifying the results in “communities other than Detroit.”

It was a revealing statement: Palmer raised no concerns about unproven irregularities in other parts of the county but was willing to block hundreds of thousands of votes in a city that is 78 percent Black and voted 94 percent for Joe Biden.

Singling out Detroit reflects a broader legal strategy by the Trump campaign to challenge votes in heavily Democratic cities with large concentrations of Black voters, like Detroit, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia. Though the Trump campaign has produced no evidence of voter fraud, it is clearly signaling through its strategy that such fraud can only be committed in Democratic areas with large numbers of Black voters.

“Really the themes that we see, that persist, are this: Black people are corrupt, Black people are incompetent, and Black people can’t be trusted,” Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, a Democrat, said last week. “That’s the narrative that is continually espoused by the Trump campaign and their allies in these lawsuits.”

In Michigan, the Trump campaign has filed litigation to throw out the results in only Wayne County, which would disenfranchise 750,000 voters and half the state’s Black population. GOP activists tried to disrupt the counting of votes in Detroit after Election Day, and GOP poll watchers said they felt threatened by election officials who wore clothes that said Black Lives Matter.

In Wisconsin, the Trump campaign has requested a recount in only two counties, Milwaukee and Dane (home to Madison), which together comprise nearly three-quarters of the state’s Black population. Both counties voted overwhelmingly for Biden.

In Pennsylvania, the Trump campaign’s legal strategy has centered on throwing out votes cast in Philadelphia, which is 44 percent Black and where nearly half of the state’s Black voters live. Trump falsely claimed there was a “mountain of corruption” in the election there.

These efforts are not likely to succeed. The Trump campaign has lost nearly every major post-election case in court and has not prevented votes from being counted anywhere or changed in Trump’s favor in any substantive way. But by spreading baseless charges of fraud in heavily Black areas, Republicans are laying the groundwork to make it harder to vote for these communities in the future—just as voter suppression efforts have targeted Black voters throughout US history.

In 2016, Trump famously asked Black voters, “What do you have to lose?” In 2020, the answer is clear: their right to vote.
He garnered more black votes in 2020 than 2016. Next. Do you ever post anything factual? Idiot.

‘Is he even president anymore?’ Loser Trump ‘more or less abandoning his job to sulk in the White House’

rump has basically given up on doing the job that he’s hoping to hang onto through legal challenges, according to multiple reporters.
The president has been largely holed up inside the White House with no public events on his schedule and focusing on efforts to challenge his election loss to Joe Biden and punish disloyal officials.
“The administration is not talking about a coronavirus relief package at all,” Politico’s Jake Sherman told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “There needs to be money to distribute this vaccine, legislation, laws in place, a mechanism to inoculate our country from this horrible virus and this administration, I wrote this in ‘Playbook’ this morning, is he even president anymore? He’s not in public, not on Capitol Hill, not doing any of the things he needs to do even from a bare bones level.”
“I’m in the Capitol every day,” he added. “I haven’t seen a member of the administration in talks with Congress with the leadership for days, weeks, since before the election. So it’s just a stunning level of kind of just silence. It’s like when bars go up on the TV. It’s stunning. I don’t know if it’s ever going to end, and frankly, the president is pushed along by people like Lindsey Graham, who offered 15 different excuses for why Donald Trump might be president. Kevin McCarthy said yesterday we don’t know the results of the election, but allowed it’s driving towards a Joe Biden victory. He’s in a bubble, alternate reality.”

Associated Press reporter Jonathan Lemire agreed, and he said Republicans are growing nervous that this dereliction of duty could cost their Senate majority in Georgia’s runoff elections.
“There is a concern that this utter inaction, this now two weeks of the president more or less abandoning his job to sulk in the White House, is maybe hurting them,” Lemire said, “is going to hurt their voters, depress excitement there, that are not sure this is going to animate them like so many Republicans on Capitol Hill believe.”

My only criticisms of Biden you'll see here is that he is a zombie (old) and a puppet of the left. IF he proves me wrong I'll gladly admit it. Well he will be old and older but if he pushes back on leftist agenda, then I may even vote for him again in 2024 if he runs. I will 100% give him a chance.

Too young to care when Bill was President. I voted for Gore, first election I could legally vote in. Find one of my posts here criticizing Obama. Thanks.

You prove again to be too stupid. You were an adult (presumably) while Clinton was president and you weren't posting here while Obama was president; so who knows what you were saying about him.

Regardless, I wasn't talking about just you; but about conservatives in general.

I was born in 1980. I was a young adult I guess in October 1998 LOL. So there are no negative posts about BHO here post my joining? I am an Independent.

I don't know if you made negative comments about Obama of not; i didn't bother to look. Again, who knows what you said while he was president. I've seen plenty of people stop attacking a president after they're out of office.

I said Zippy (aka Obama) was a failed social experiment that doesn't bvear repeating and lo and behold, you liberals give us a short-term Biden with Zippy's (aka Obama) half-breed, different gender clone.

LOL

It's adorable how you say that as though anyone cares.

Out of 164 nations that we have COVID stats for.......the US response ranks 152nd. It has been an abysmal, abysmal failure that's only getting worse.

We have the highest death totals, the highest number of cases, and one of the highest per capita death rates on the planet. Our hospitals are reaching capacities, and we're losing a 911's number in American deaths every 3 days.

Yesterday alone we lost over 1600 people.

Well, I guess that shows us that lock-downs don't work...

This is the usual fallback position when a Democrat/Socialist gets caught lying.....scream RACIST!!!!

“The administration is not talking about a coronavirus relief package at all,” Politico’s Jake Sherman told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “There needs to be money to distribute this vaccine, legislation, laws in place, a mechanism to inoculate our country from this horrible virus and this administration, I wrote this in ‘Playbook’ this morning, is he even president anymore? yo, retard, if you watched a real news source, you would see the demonrats cheated, and there are recounts going on. understandably, you are not allowed to watch real news, this is why you are confused. work on finding your brain, and then controlling it yourself, you will find that works great

Please cite to any news report of a legal finding the dems cheated … anywhere.

Do you accept alternative "news" sites?

Well, I'd be good with the Washington Examiner or Fox if they actually had cites to actual court findings. Newsmax, Briesfart… nah.

It certainly shows that Trump's inept and incompetent COVID response didn't work.

As more than 250,000 dead Americans demonstrate hideously.

Aww, poor baby. :itsok:

Let's go back to talking about the economy....

GDP:
Clinton ... +3.8%
Bush ........ +1.8%
Obama ... +1.9%
Trump ...... +1.0%

Unemployment Rate:
Clinton ... -3.1 points
Bush ....... +3.6 points
Obama ... -3.1 points
Trump .... +2.2 points

Employed (Establishment Data):
Clinton ... +22,904,000 jobs
Bush .......... +1,357,000 jobs
Obama ... +11,572,000 jobs
Trump ......... -3,254,000 jobs

And Impeached Trump is the only president to not have a year of real GDP exceed 3% or a single quarter exceed 4%.

Explains why brain-dead zombies vote Republican for president.
