I don't think American taxes should go to a nation that claims to be our "closest ally," while trying to subvert our democracy.

I am only concerned with American interests.

Many believe that this conflict is in our interest, and I have never seen the proof that it is.

So if the US was giving the same aid to Hamas instead of Israel, then you'd suddenly be against Hamas?

This is an untenable situation where both sides want to live in the same place, and won't tolerate the existence of the other.

I'm an American, my values are live and let live. Neither of these sides share that value.
If this were a U.S. state, then the Israeli government would have to give up pushing Judaism as the favored culture of the state, for the sake of others that live there.

I don't see the Mormons in Utah trying to force their values and way of life on everyone that lives in Utah.
. . but neither the Israelis nor the Arabs that live there can tolerate practicing their religion, culture and living their lives in a secular government system which treats all people equally under law.


It is a bad look for America to support either side, IMO.
