Well here we are on the 19th of April, Hormuz is still closed, we are still blockading Iran, and they have hit two ships, supposedly we have captured one of their ships. I strongly suspect the market will negatively react tomorrow, and the gas prices will continue to go up. When we have a fool for a leader, we can expect this type of "success". The farmers that voted for Trump are now going bankrupt because they lost major markets because of Trump's tariffs, and they cannot afford fertilizer because of tariffs and the blockading of Hormuz. And Trump promised that he would bring inflation down to nothing, but his foolish war with Iran is going to push it up to record levels. That is going to very negatively affect much of his base that are in the lower 50% income level. And then there is the very rapid rise in the cost of electricity because of the heavy subsidization of the coal industry and high maintenance cost coal plants. In the meantime, every week we see where industries are laying off workers by the thousands. Oh yeah, Trump and the GOP are really going to run on their record. LOL!!!
