Intimidation of the opposition is still part of the playbook.

Indiana lawmaker under pressure to back Trump’s redistricting push is victim of a swatting

An Indiana lawmaker who has yet to make a decision on whether to back President Donald Trump’s push to have Republicans redraw the state’s congressional boundaries was the victim of a swatting call Sunday that brought sheriff’s deputies to his home.

The call, in which someone reported a fake emergency at the Terre Haute home of state Sen. Greg Goode, came hours after Trump criticized Indiana lawmakers for not moving forward with the plan and singled out Goode and Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray. Trump has been trying to persuade Republican-led states across the country to aggressively redraw their congressional maps to help the GOP hold the U.S. House in next year’s midterm elections.

Deputies were sent to Goode’s home after receiving an email “advising harm had been done to persons inside a home,” according to a statement from the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office.

trump invoked a dog whistle term for Goode, "RINO," and it elicited the desired response. Certain trump fans, like the ones who tried to intimidate members of the court and jury during Don's trials, are still out there ready and willing to swing in to action.

It then posted a stream of videos of protesters jostling metal barricades, a woman hurriedly herding two young women past a screaming crowd, and a protester pointing to his neck — a reference to the part of Kirk’s body that was shot — as he held a sign that said “Freedom of speech does not equal freedom from consequences.”

We know all about it. Democrats have been intimidating Trump and his supporters for about 9 years now.

That is funny coming from your side of fence considering how Biden and Obama used a phony Russia hoax and other things against Trump.

I think it's fair to characterize suggesting congressmen be hung for pointing out members of the military have a right to disobey an illegal order as intimidation.
.

Stating a fact is "intimidation" to your cult.

This is the violent, lawless Trump Cult.

I must say it is more than a little disheartening to see the POTUS make the comment he made. I saw an interview with Sen. Slotkin last night during which she described how the Capital Police have already had to ramp up protection for her. I imagine the same is true for the other 5.

She said she was immediately flooded with threats of all kinds including death threats.

Death threats surge after Trump’s post on ‘seditious behavior,’ senator says

'I'm not going to be intimidated': Rep. Crow responds to Trump's sedition threat

Rep. Jason Crow, a former Army Ranger who participated in the video, told Morning Edition host Leila Fadel that he's been receiving death threats since Trump's social media posts. But Crow said he won't be "intimidated."

Facing threats, Sen. Elissa Slotkin pushes on

Sen. Elissa Slotkin acknowledged Sunday she was receiving threats after being branded “seditious” by President Donald Trump but said she wasn’t going to back off her statements addressed to the military.

Slotkin (D-Mich.) was one of six Democratic members of Congress, all veterans, who issued a statement last week that said that members of the military and the intelligence community have an obligation to refuse “illegal orders.” The others were Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.), Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pa.), Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-N.H.) and Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-Pa.).

Speaking Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Slotkin said: “I think I’ve been through dangerous situations before, so it doesn’t change, you know, my feeling about speaking my mind. But obviously, the president took issue with one sentence in a video and was calling for our death. I think that’s inappropriate, whether you’re a Democrat, Republican or an independent.”

Since the video was posted, Trump has repeatedly and insistently attacked the lawmakers, calling them treasonous for their statements and pushing for their arrest. “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” he said in one post.

On Saturday night, he posted on Truth Social: “MANY GREAT LEGAL SCHOLARS AGREE THAT THE DEMOCRAT TRAITORS THAT TOLD THE MILITARY TO DISOBEY MY ORDERS, AS PRESIDENT, HAVE COMMITTED A CRIME OF SERIOUS PROPORTION!”

"Many legal scholars agree"............"Many people have said"..........."Many people have told me." Phrases like that are a sure sign he's spewing bullshit again.

Being reminded it is permissible not to obey illegal orders is not the same as being told to disobey orders. Or perhaps the Orange Fraud is acknowledging his orders are illegal.
