I do act on what I think is fraud. And you'd be surprised the number of people who don't know about Diebold. I was shocked myself even now when I talk about it with people.

I'm not sure how you think that Cali.... Obama leads in electoral votes right now even with McCain's 3 point lead in the national polls.

I am guessing that some of the marginal states don't have polling numbers post-RNC. SO I am guessing that the electroal map is not up to date.

The other possibility is that red states got redder and the map is current.

My point was that a three point spread in the popular vote would be huge for the electoral vote to go the other way. I think the Gore/Bush thing was separated by like 550,000 votes which would be about a half percent or so.

Litigations are brought by parties that feel personally grieved. We (California) voted in Debra Bowen on her platform of inspecting the machines top to bottom. I've written leters to my representatives, I think some of that national effort was what made B Boxer question the 2004 results.

I think you were on vacation when I posted the most recent delectable tidbit from Diebold.

They have admitted their machines drop votes, preferentially in urban districts. The error is part of the original code and their is no patch for it.

34 states use these machines, urban districts are typically heavier for democrats.

There isn't much more one can do other then to get the information out there and write letters.

Protesting does nothing at this point. Besides Cali, this is exactly what Dillo wants.

I doubt anything different or unique from me if you do anything at all.
If I did actually protest or do something that is considered Left Wing crazy then I'd be called a Socialist or a Left Wing Nutjob. If I don't do anything, then I'm not doing enough for my country and only leaving other people to do said job.

no it's not---but the silence from both parties on this issue is overwhelming. I've heard people whining for 8 fricking years about these damn machines. Where's Dean---where's Obama--where's Biden ? Apparently not worried enough to say a damn thing. Is this the same chicken shit behavior that we can expect from them on other issues that people think are important ?
