Interesting prop bet: Rodgers and Tua each run for 10+ yards.

Playoff hopes on the line. Rodgers and Tua both rushing for 10+ yards is paying 14 to 1 right now. Hey I'll take I shot at that for ten bucks. :)

Seems like a gimme unless Rogers is too flat footed. Havent seen him lately

I think it was just last week that Rogers went running down the field so fast that commentators were surprised.

ITMT, Tua has never won a game where it was below 40°

Football tonight in Pittsburgh looks to be something like 12-15°

Pittsburgh has NEVER lost a MNF. Never. But Pittsburgh STINKS at stopping the run and Miami specializes in running the ball averaging almost 200 yards rushing per game.

The Dolphins suck in the cold, that's for sure. Achane is a great runner tho.

Well, they sure sucked eggs tonight. I came into the game shortly before Halftime when it was still something like 14-3 Pittsburgh. From there on in, the Steelers ran roughshod all over Miami and fairly destroyed them knocking them out of any playoff hopes with a score like 28-3, then kinda let off Miami after that in the 4th because no one thought they could make up the deficit and they only managed to get back to 15 points.

It'll be a long flight back home for Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Rodgers picked them apart, one quick throw after another.

I was, frankly, a little shocked. I was cheering for the Steelers again! It might have been the best game of the season for Pittsburgh. Between last week and this week, the Steelers somehow actually look like they are peaking, despite all of the setbacks. I saw head coach Tomlin wearing a jersey that said: INSPIRE CHANGE. Well, it looked like he finally lit a fire under Pittsburgh's ass; I think if it had not been so bitter cold had they wanted to and kept up hammering at Miami, they easily could have scored at least another 10 points.

So that leaves Pittsburgh in pretty good shape with 1 full game ahead of Baltimore. The dirty birds have a harrowing schedule ahead of them while I think Pittsburgh's next biggest test will be going to Detroit now on a short week. Detroit has been listing, but are still a pretty good football team, then after that, Pittsburgh finishes with Cleveland (who for some reason play well against Pittsburgh), but Pittsburgh should easily beat them, then they finish the season with the Ravens again (division rivals), and even though that is a home game for the Ravens, with their issues, I think Pittsburgh can beat them again, and that would leave the Steelers a strong 11-6! Best outcome they've had in years, but they will probably lose one of those games and really be 10-7 which is still not bad.

If Pittsburgh finishes as just another 9-8 team, it will be a sad disappointment. Tomlin can take his no-losing-seasons record then and shove it up the stovepipe. I want at least a 10-7 team for a change considering all of the investments they made to the team this year, they better win at least one more game to show for it, because, it will likely be another year of rebuilding next year because Aaron Rogers will be gone.

And sadly, I've only come to really appreciate him in his later years. I think Rogers understands the game better than the NFL.

Did the bet hit? Rodgers is playing with a broken left wrist, so he probably won’t scramble

It is fractured and healing. I saw him holding his wrist once during the game so I'm sure playing in 12° didn't feel good.

I dont remember him running once? Tua once for 1 yd? It was so boring the 1st half I barely looked at the screen on mute.

The Lions away game is going to be a tough one. Not sure if the Steelers run defense can contain Gibbs/Montgomery.

I lost track. Are the Lions alive? They played LAR pretty good and still lost. LA was unbelievable good when needed.

DET was passing a lot start to finish. I don't remember any big runs?

The Rams are awesome. Detroit is 8th seed right now but ironically, they are 8-6, same as the Steelers, which are 4th seed because the AFC North is pretty stinky, so yeah, Detroit may be floundering, but the Steelers will still have their hands full.

If Pittsburgh has another refractory period now as they have been having all season bobbing up and down + now with a short week, Detroit is going to clobber them.

//*UGH! Campbell was right again we may never get back. *//

As of December 16, 2025, the Detroit Lions are in a precarious position to make the NFL playoffs, with their fate dependent on a combination of their own performance and results from other teams. The Lions are currently 8-6 and ranked 8th in the NFC playoff standings, with a 41% chance to qualify. They no longer control their own destiny, as a 3-0 finish in their final three games would not guarantee a playoff berth without significant help from other NFC teams

Playoff Scenarios, Detroit Lions:

The Lions must win their final three games: against the Pittsburgh Steelers (Week 16), the Minnesota Vikings (Week 17), and the Chicago Bears (Week 18).

Even with a 3-0 finish, the Lions would only make the playoffs if either the Chicago Bears or Green Bay Packers lose at least two of their final three games.

A 3-0 finish would give them an 11-6 record, which could secure a wild-card spot if the Seattle Seahawks or San Francisco 49ers also lose out, though the 49ers hold a head-to-head tiebreaker advantage.

If the Lions go 2-1 or worse, their playoff chances drop significantly, and a 0-3 finish would eliminate them from contention.

That is a fancy way of saying Detroit won't be in the Playoffs.

While Detroit might likely beat Pittsburgh, they won't be beating the Bears, and the Bears won't be losing 2 of their last 3 teams.
