MIGRANTS with “innovative ideas” will be able to more easily move to Australia and start a business under measures announced by the Turnbull Government today.
An “Entrepreneur Visa” giving permanent residency to migrants who start a successful business was one of more than 20 measures announced by the Prime Minister as part of his $1.1 billion innovation policy.
The policy, which aims to boost jobs and economic growth, will also make it easier for postgraduate researchers with qualifications in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and information technology to move to Australia as part of an “enhanced pathway” to permanent residence to be introduced next year.
Is PM’s innovation what we need?
