I guess part of the MAGA cult crowd's objection was that no one who advocated requiring employers to pay a living wage was willing to say how much that would be.

I'll keep saying it and you'll keep ignoring it: If government did not subsidize sub-living wages by giving welfare to people with low-paying jobs, the employers would have to pay a living wage determined by the free market.
