Family of teacher killed during prank wants charges against students dropped

The family of a Georgia teacher who was accidentally killed during a prom season prank by several students says they want the charges against the teens dropped.

The kids got caught and thought to simply gun it and escape. Better that they stayed and owned up to it. No doubt that the teacher is aware that toilet papering a house is weirdly a way to show acceptance as Carl in Michigan stated. The kids do it here in Texas also.

Toilet papering (or "TP-ing") is a common prank or "mischief night" tradition involving covering a home, trees, or yard in toilet paper, often indicating a playful gesture from friends, peers, or, at times, a mild act of revenge

Because of how things turned out this couldn't be a better opportunity to make an example out of those kids. Maybe now people will start thinking twice before they set out to pull a practical joke on someone. If the perp(s) end up with life without parole, at least they still have a life to live unlike that teacher who is no longer here.

No need to run. The teacher could see the truck (everyone knows) and the teacher probably was not that upset over it? More likely a badge of respect. Like said above, they like me?
