Generally, 1 post (thread starter or comment) = 1.2 visits = 17 person minutes of media consumption. Good thread starters have much much higher influence -- easily several hundred times as much for a popular thread.

Proof.
In 2019, on Reddit {Reddit’s 2019 Year in Review - Upvoted} there were
  • 199 million threads started
  • 1.7 billion comments
  • 32 billion upvotes
In 2018, Reddit got 1.6 billion visits and 168 billion page views -- which would translate to 2.3 billion visits 230 billion in 2019 page views with 37% growth rate. An average visit lasted 16 minutes {Reddit Statistics For 2021: Eye-Opening Usage & Traffic Data}.

Notice: If someone has over a hundred thousand followers, his/her voice has tens of thousands of times more impact then commoners voice.

Reddit is a cesspool of liberalism. There are only five people on that site, shitposting 24/7.

Most subreddits are not political. It would be interesting to see metrics for USMB. Perhaps 1 post would also equal to about 15 to 20 person-minutes of media consumption.
