Indiana beats Ohio State for the Big Ten Championship!

Alabama with 3 losses, and losing Saturday, and looking bad doing it, gets in, Notre Dame out.

Notre Dame says it will not accept any bowl bids. Good on them!
I dont know what ND expected. Their only good win was USC and that's really not that great a win. The other 2 games against ranked opponents they lost. What did them in was BYU losing and putting Miami right next to them in the rankings. Unfortunately for ND they lost to Miami.

There's no way Alabama drops out of the PO and they shouldn't. They played an additional game (CCG) something ND didn't have to do. Its easy not to lose a game you dont have to play. The committee said before the year started that teams who are forced to play in CCG would not be punished for losing them. If they did it would signal the death of CCG's and a huge stream of money for the conferences.

Seems the CFP decided fairly early on to take the route of NCAA basketball and its March tournament. The 68 best teams do not get in. You have some real scrub teams. Sure, I guess 16 beating a number one is fun, but is seldom happens. I like behemoth teams. Slaughter the underdog, I say! I hope JMU and Tulane get their asses handed to them! lol
They are auto bids. Do a simple google search on how the PO spots are assigned before saying dumb shit.

ND's losses came the first two weeks of their season, they won out the rest of the way.

Alabama has 3-losss, and looked awful losing to Georgia on Saturday.

No 3-loss team belongs in this playoff.

And James Madison? Seriously? Tulane too?

There would be a lot more early round upsets in NCAABB if the REFs did not sweetheart all Big name teams thru to the Sweet 16. Keeping TV alive.

DUKE would have been out early games, 2-3 times as example, 2-3 titles they would never have.

It's more fair better now with 100% TV coverage but still the UCF, STL, ISU type teams were cheated out many times over the years. They fouled out UCF 7'+++ big man on a touch fouls (if that) recently at ~2min mark to keep DUKE alive. //

Please quit harping on the "extra game". They have 3 losses. They played bad vs. GA LOSS 3.

They should have lost to AUB. Barely beat Mizzou. OKLA beat them soundly. We'll see but they don't deserve a free pass in just "because" past history and TV ratings.

DUKE VA was a good game into OT. Two pretty good team, neither layed down and then claimed doesn't matter like ALA.

GA tore ALA apart. All weakness showed up. So ALA is fake or they quit? Which is it? Oh they get another shot to try again? Please.

Teams just won’t play in their CCG. Why should they? BTW you want to put OU TAM and Ole Miss in the PO when they weren’t good enough on the regular season to make the CCG. How moronic is that?

What does that matter? Why would a loss in week 10 matter more than one in week 1?

So it would have been better for them to just not get in the plane for Atlanta. Then they would deserve to be on the PO? That’s what will happen if the committee punishes teams for playing in their CCG.

THEY ARE AUTOBIDS dumbass

That's the system now. Maybe they will change it? They all have unbalanced schedules anyway if not mistaken? I even saw late season cupkake games on this year?

Do we ignore AUG games in PHX (ASU) because it was 110F? Or FLA in June? All is not fair. Its the system

Right so teams will just stop playing in them. We wont get games like we had last night. Congrats. Not sure why you think thats better.

For the record it's not the system we have right now. The committee has said over and over they werent going to punish teams for playing in their CCG./

Don't forget how the Duke coach got in the ref's ear during Duke-Wisconsin. It was the title game. The Duke coach complained at halftime about not calling fouls on Wisconsin. There were just two fouls called, but that's the way the Badgers played. Very disciplined.

I don't blame Krud Zoo Skee for doing that though. I blame the refs for caving.

That's exactly what I was addressing. Try learning sports before chiming into a conversation.:rolleyes:
? I guess Im confused as to why anyone would be surprised that those teams were in the PO. It's part of the agreement when they designed the playoff system.
