Indiana #1, Illinois #50 in New Manufacturing Jobs

Uh yeah okay go tell that to the 7.1% who are unemployed. Somehow I doubt the majority in Indiana share your view of the state one state is below the national unemployment average and it gets trashed another is almost double the national average and it gets praised that's some unique logic.

No, it's still a pretty dismal place to live.

take a drive through Gary Indiana some time. Used to be a big deal with the steel mills.

Now, not so much.

You keep saying that yet it does not change the unemployment numbers and it won't change them the next time you say it either.

I often wonder that those folks who think low paying jobs are great have any concerns about their children and their children. Considering low paying jobs are certainly the direction the US is heading.

Naw, they're all kind of brainwashed into thinking they'll be part of the exploitation.

And then wake up one day and find themselves one of the exploited.

If you have to choose between what some call a low paying job not sure how you determine that depending on the cost of living where you happen to be what constitutes low paying could vary greatly anyway choosing between that and no job for most would be a pretty easy choice. At least with a job with low starting pay you have the chance to move up and advance something you don't have with no job. Is this the best option no but it's better than no option.

Dude, I actually live in Indiana. And I live 10 miles away from Gary in Munster, Indiana. Gary failed due to crime and Democrat policies. Here in Munster, we're doing quite well.

Illinois is a blue state ran into the ground by the Chicago Democratic Party.

Also, JoeB doesn't know what "third world" is.

African countries that are actually third world have a per-capita income around $1500-$4000.

Indiana has a per capita income of about $40,000.

If you think Indiana is like a 3rd-world country, you are the definition of an idiot.

Illinois unemployment rate 7.1% Indiana 5.9% given that I wouldn't be doing stuff to send any jobs to another state.

Uh, yeah, okay.

Again, if you've ever been to Indiana, you wouldn't say that.

Honestly, had to drive through it a few times, it's always ******* depressing as shit.

Indiana is worlds better than Shit-cago. The only part of Indiana I thought was depressing was Gary...a suburb of Chicago.
