I remember a 1962 war between India and China in the most mountainous region you can imagine, China won some big mountains.

India and Pakistan fought a major war in 1971over Bangladesh, since the British partitioned India in 1947 and created Pakistan most of the periodic hostilities were over Kashmir.

The problem now is that both countries have about 170 nuclear weapons each. A terror attack killed 26 Indian tourists, now India hit back. Pakistan vows it will hit India.

The aftermath of any nation who would actually use nuclear weapons for offense or defense would make it extremely ill advised... India's military is way stronger than Pakistan's so lets hope the leaders in Pakistan take this into consideration with their response....

I know it is difficult to believe but the leadership of both India and Pakistan are intelligent people. If you've travelled around both countries (as I have) it would be hard to believe they are civilized (they are not) but their respective governments know what they are doing.
