This is nothing more than Income Redistribution of which Obama firmly believes in.

In addition, he is playing to extreme left. Increasing taxes on the Rich in Europe did not make their failing economies any better.

Oh heck. I think we should tax all the super rich 99.9% Take all that ill-gotten money from the likes of Gates and Buffet (hell Buffet says we need to tax the rich more so lets start with him) leave them enough to continue to live comfortably and let the government squander the rest. It would take all of a few days for that to occur. Then they can start eating the millionaires.
