Not so well
I did not think they should be bailed out
But they were and the poor fell further behind so deal in realities not your talking points.

The topic of the thread. Growing wealth inequality.Innovation and collaboration in regard to what problem?
FactThe idea bwhind your clain is false. " The poor will get the crumbs that are left " is predicated on the zero sum game belief which is simply not true
There is no pie of wealth that everyone gets a piece of. When a biillionaire makes another billion NO one loses a billion. When a billionaire makes a dollar no one loses a dollar.
No one on this thread or any other can demonstrate any harm caused by wealth inequality
Fact for the past 44 years that affects all (not just the ones that manage their money poorly)People who manage their money better are not to blame for others who dont
You want to personalize the topic to me
Very well, just this once
If I could turn back the clock to my youth while knowing what I know now I would do things much differently
Consequently I have great respect for others who managed to get it right the first time
The government shouldn't give goodies to anyone. When and where that's happening (and I agree that it is), I'm right there with you on stopping it. But that's not what you're complaining about. You're complaining because some people make more money than others. So give the "goodies" to the rich but keep it away from 98% of Americans.
It matters because you demand more of Trump than your simpleton who's been "in charge" the last 4 years. That is not important for the simple reason that the President (Biden) did not give them any new tax cuts. This OP is about Trump and this happening under his term and him saying he will do it again.

The #1 measure of a nation is how well it takes care of its poor, which have zero negative effects on an economy. It matters because you demand more of Trump than your simpleton who's been "in charge" the last 4 years.
The rich will get richer under Trump, and so will the average American. And that's a good thing
Facts are your enemy, wanker. The wealth gap increased at the fastest rate under your hero, the obummer.View attachment 1054839

There is NO DOUBT that this is going to happen and that the poor and middle class will only receive the crumbs that are left.

Are you okay with this?
This is not about demanding anything. It is about showing what Trump has stated he will do and how that affects all of us.It matters because you demand more of Trump than your simpleton who's been "in charge" the last 4 years.

I'm saying the government shouldn't be in the business of "giving" anyone anything. To the extent that it's going on, we should act to stop it. But the complaint of the thread is "income inequality", a different concern altogether. Some are gave more than others. You saying you don't agree with that is going to do nothing to stop it.

Okay. Do you have a proposal to stop it?But that are.
Which ones? Near as I can tell, the OP is merely targeting people who make a lot of money and demanding they pay higher taxes. This is almost always the approach of the left. They see "profit" as even and assume anyone who makes a lot of money is corrupt and should be punished. No it's not. It is created by the very actions you agree are wrong.

Ontario is prepared to do our part to help America when you apply tariffs to Canada.
Trump can call it the "human right tariff" and be quite accurate with such a moniker.
No, that is not what I am complaining about. What I am complaining about is that the U.S. is supposed to be a nation for all Americans to grow and not be a nation where only 2% grow (which happens to be the ultrarich) and the rest of us stagnate. You like that? The government shouldn't give goodies to anyone. When and where that's happening (and I agree that it is), I'm right there with you on stopping it. see post #98So get out their and protest the rich? Start with all those who support liberal policies but take the tax break anyway. Demand they spread the wealth and fork over your fair share.
Start with the authors you quote, let us know their net worth and how they make it.

This chart shows 44 years of our countries economic income. Check out the blue line at the bottom, which shows the growth of 98% of Americans and the orange line shows the 2% of Americans. Are you saying that you personally don't feel that your chances to grow have been less than the super wealthy, THROUGH NO FAULT OF YOURS?
Opportunities to grow have favored the 2%. This has nothing to do with talent or lack of talent. It is all because the rich have been GIVEN more opportunities to grow than you have. They have been given more tax breaks, more loopholes, more open doors, more importance.
You are not a prime American because your income does not "fit the bill". The rich are going to help themselves more because they have been GIVEN the tools by which they can do it. You do not deserve "any tools" because your income is not going to help the nation get rich.
You are basically a slave or a puppet. You like that?
