In this latest age of Science Denial is there a consensus on "Consensus in science?"

Catholic denial has been around longer ... because that's all science is, denying God created Heaven and Earth ...

It's all about "frame-of-reference" ... [giggle] ... seriously, we don't call it the Newtonian Revolution because the discoveries were boring and inelegant ... science was untrustworthy before then ...

Newton showed us the math ...
I have this hypothesis that for most of you, blatant science denial is directly related to your faith.

There is no "culture war" this is a canard created by dimwitts to "explain" things that they otherwise can't make sense of.

Stick to the science as Dante suggested, science is objective, laws, theories all well understood.

Its how we can fly around the world, land men on the moon, send images back from Jupiter, watch our wide screen televisions and enjoy hyper efficient electric lighting and forecast the weather with more accuracy than we could a century ago.
thank you

and in other posts I've said just about the same thing you've just said

They all just ignore and keep on coming back with weird nuttiness

Except lots of interests today have challenged the science itself, not what to do with it
No doubt.

The climate science denial industry is uniquely an American phenomenon.

And we are the dumbest first world country.

Not coincidence.

It exists in other nations, but not on the Trumpian scale it does in the Good Old USA :auiqs.jpg:
I've seen a more general term used "anti intellectualism" an active opposition to rationalism and informed decision making, like some kind of reverse enlightenment, I think some trumpites even study this concept and they don't see the irony.

This is probably something trumpites would label as "progress".
